Re: OOT bags
Water Aspirin / Tylenol Assorted Snacks (chips / candy / breath mints) Granola bars Hand sanitizer
My guests LOVED having a snack waiting for them when they arrived at the hotel.
I also included a timeline for the weekend and a welcome letter with contact information.
To buy my supplies, I went to Walmart and browsed the 'trial' aisle. Then I went to the snack aisle and bought things on sale that came in multi-packs. I wasn't specific about the type of snack, just assorted snacks for everyone!

Re: OOT bags
this is my take on the oot bags:
ANYTHING you put in them will be welcomed [PERIOD]. you DON'T have to give your guests ANYTHING.
that being said, try to include things that make them fell WELCOMED and PART of the wedding.
you want to include something about your small part of the world, something should they have had a bad trip or upset stomach etc, something to snack on
i included the following: (i hope i can remember everything) 'day of' timeline personalized bottle of water tylenol (individual dose) alkaseltzer (individual dose) a map of the area a thank you for coming note pretzles goldfish crackers m&ms cranberry scones yogurt covered blueberries
the last three items were accompanied with a note explaining how they were from 'my part of the world'
for those traveling with kids, i included a coloring book and a small box of crayons
