I'm looking for a dining room set, I've narrowed my search to these two. Which one?

This will not help at all - I like the chairs from #1 but everything else from #2

I'm sorry if this further confuses you, but I like the design of the first one and the color of the second one. If I had to pick, though, I'd go with the first one. The design of the chairs in the second would bother me after a while.

Do you like darker or lighter wood?

Jenn, I like both those colors, I dont want really dark, cherry colored wood, nor do I want that lamiated white or cream colors, my dining room floors are parquet and either color would go great. I'm kinda apprehensive about the chairs in the second one myself, but I love the china cabinet.

It's those chairs. Too bad they don't have different styles. I'm liking number one better and that's even with my preference for lighter wood.
