I have to agree. I watched Dateline and I had all of these misconceptions about her. She really got screwed from that basta$d!

I couldn't believe that either! She is EXTREMELY OUT THERE! I definitely give her so much credit for her bravery though. I was freaked when they revealed that they caught Scott with 'tools' that seemed to be meant for the murder of Amber . . .

Poor girl has been through so much- mu7st be traumatizing . . . I almost blamed her 'spaciness' on everything she had been through, yet that doesn't explain her decision to let a man she had known for 3 days to pick up her daughter from school . . .

You know, I watched this with JT today, and I have to say, when Oprah was talking to her about how she let Scott Peterson pick up her daughter after only three dates, JT and I both agreed that we trusted eachother 100% from the second we went out for the first time, and so I can't really say anything bad about her in that respect. The man is a sociopath, I am sure she DID trust him and probably shouldn't have had him pick her daughter up, but JT and I could totally relate to what she was saying and know how our level of trust was after three days. So I can't judge her on that. I feel terrible for her. I can't imagine what she is going through. And I truly believe she was next. He would have done it to her, too.

I saw it also. Did anyone get the feeling she didn't totally write that book? Oprah was telling her what she wrote. She eventually covered it with a good laugh, but I thought she was getting a bit annoyed that Frye couldn't recall important details.

hmmmm you wonder if she really did write it!

Re: oprah

she obviously had a lot of help writing that book. the verdict came out only a few months ago, there is no way she wrote that entire book by herself and then had it edited and published in that short amount of time.

Me too. She kept forgetting stuff and stalled after alot of the questions. Oprah answered more questions than her.

I watched it on Oprah at 7, and the girl was either really really nervous and couldn't think straight ---or just totally OUT THERE---but IF she wrote the book, how could she NOT remember what happened-geez ---I was thinking this is a hard interview for Oprah, Oprah was telling the whole story/book...what was that all about? She (Amber) is on again on Friday w/ the other half of the interview, I want to see it, maybe they told her she has to PARTICIPATE in the show---but, as posted already--she came through and did what she could to get Peterson sentenced.

Absolutely! At least he got what he deserved. What an unbelievable character he is. If that story were novel we would have said 'Get real'. At times I was worried about a mistrial, though. Too many loop holes in the system, for my liking.

How are you aliciahelene? I don't get over here much. It's good to see your name. I did see that you are getting two precious boys. I couldn't be happier for you.
All the best!
Mary
