Got a question...Is there a train station in south shore nassau where I can park my car for the evening? DH and I have tickets to Wicked tonight and want to take the train in. Can we park at any trainstation at night or is there a station that doesn't require a parking pass? Does Bellmore require the pass? I used to live near the Merillon Ave. station where anyone could park but now I need to know for the south shore. THANKS!
Bellmore does not require a pass and you can get a fine parking spot in the evening once some of the morning commute cars leave. You can even leave over night if necessary!
You should be able to park at any station for the evening. I think passes are only required between 6am and 6pm. They should have signs all over the place that tell you when it's ok to park there without a pass.
Merrick too does not requite any permits to park. And usually in the evening, there is parking available.
