part 2 of my review

My Make-up-Jacquline Nicole. What can I say that hasn't been said........she's awesome. Mom, MOH & Me. All perfect. Worth every penny. 10+

My Hair-Jennifer-Fairytale Makeovers. She did a great job, my hair was a challenge. I really loved it, my Mom looked great too. Jennifer is very sweet. JN & Jennifer both arrived at my Hotel at the same time, they were very friendly to each other & had no trouble working together. I was truly impressed. 10+

My last minute details I found at the tri-county flea market-after debating on spending $200 plus on my purse & gloves I got real. I went there & got my purse, gloves, flowergirl wreath, hairpins & a few other things for $100. Really worth a visit. 10

Our Favors were made by my friend's sister that has a favor business in Brooklyn. They were worth every penny, I will post a pic & her info another time. 10+

Officiant-also a patient of mine. Reverend Juanita Hilsenbeck, I've known her longer than I've known my Hubby & I always knew she'd be the one. She allowed us to write our ceremony & make it unique to us. She added her blessings & spiritual touches that made it perfect. 10+

Ceremony & Cocktail hour music-Weissongs Orchestras(another patient)piano & flute for the ceremony, piano & sax for cocktail. Beautiful. 10+


Florist-Milleridge Florist, They only vendor we didn't 'know' and another one of my great bargains. Sheryl was awesome she never tried to sell me anything I didn't want. I took a lot of time designing what I wanted & she really made my dreams come true. We used some green Hydrangeas in October & they seemed to last. Very affordable. 10+

Photogragher-Spelman Studios, we had Christine & 2 assistants. I'm certain that we will be blown away by our pics. She made it easy & fun even with my complicated family. We didn't really have enough time but I never felt stressed. Hubby & I saw eachother before & I'm so glad we did. 10+

DJ-Spin Around Sound-Tom & James were great. I have never seen so many people dance at a day wedding, no lights or smoke. Just the songs we wanted to hear. On time, neat & friendly. We also used their video service, Fred taped nearly every move we made-I can't wait to get it. 10+

The Milleridge Cottage-WOW. I'm so impressed with how organized & detail oriented they are. Selena was our banquet manager & she really took the time to understand all of my details & how I wanted everything to be. Sam was our Maitre d, he is really awesome-truly caring & catering to our every need. He too understood my anal retentiveness & was able to make sure every tiny detail was just so. As for my bridal attendant-I need to call the cottage-her name was suppossed to be Jill-someone else came into our suite once during cocktail hour & I never saw her again. Our wonderful BM was a little tipsy & I think he asked Sam to give her the tip envelope marked 'Jill'. I'll let you know how that turns out. BTW I never missed the Bridal attendant because Sam was so fabulous-I realized the next day.
Our ceremony was beautiful, the cocktail hour was fun, the food was great, the drinks were plentiful & the place is beautiful & people were friendly & efficiant. I'm so happy with our choice & I think that the Cottage is a real gem. 10+++++

We got home today & had fifteen messages from various friends & relatives about our day & what a great time they had.

I'll add more later-if I think of anything.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Sounds like evrything went wonderfully(sorry about your bustle!) The pics you posted on the other thread were beautiful and they aren't even your proofs!! Sounds like you did your HW and choose wonderful vendors!! I hope everything is as great for my day!! Post more pics when you get them !!

sure, they have a full band, but we decided to go with a DJ & use them for the other stuff. Elliot the owner is a great guy, totally creative & loves music.
I have his home #(because I know him)I'll search for his office # or I can call him & get it for you. They are based in Manhattan, but work everywhere.
