People Making Comments about your WEIGHT!!!

I got home from work late and ate a pop-tart for dinner. I am well aware that a pop-tart is not healthy or low-calorie. But when my FMIL says to me 'I guess there goes the Weight Watchers?' I want to STRANGLE HER!!!

What do you say to nimrods like her???

Clueless, I truly feel your pain. My boss, who is 70 years old, is constantly complaining that she's fat because she gained a pound or two. She whines about how she's a few pounds more than she was in high school and wants to be her high school weight. Did I mention that she's 70 FRIGGEN YEARS OLD???? She finally bitched and moaned too much and I told her that she was not allowed to speak to me about being fat since we're the same height and I'm 40 pounds more than she is and that if she was going to insist on talking about being fat, she needed to get out of my office. What did she tell me? 'You don't look like you weigh that much more than me.' So I said, 'then I must be fat, too, don't you think?' I have never seen someone backpeddle so quickly.

I have to say I feel stupid about the weight thing. Im not fat. Im not thin. Im average. I wouldn't mind losing a few pounds but Im ok if I don't.

I haven't really gained or lose much weight but some folks try to be nice 'Oh, Veronica looks like you've lost a few pounds for the wedding, nice huh?' My opinion is 'I don't know...? Did I look like I NEEDED to lose weight before?'

My FIL does that to me, he will say stuff like, oh you can eat that on a diet, or I guess you aren't on a iet anymore.

It really pisses me off!!! First of all, it is none of your business, and second of all, if you want to support me in losing weight, that is defintly not the way to do it.

i can relate, im not skinny but im certainly not fat. i work in a school and yesturday another teacher came up to me and told me that everyone in the school is talking about how much weight i have gained and that my FH is going to leave me because of it and that i have been letting myself go. i was so insulted that he was telling me this as well as peple talking about it. i admit that i had put on a few pounds over the two week vacation because i didnt go to the gym and i ate a lot, but dont take a big insecurity and blow it up to the fact that everyone notices and that because of it my FH will leave me.
people are so insensitive to womens weight. we all cant be perfect, it only matters that we feel good about ourselves.
