Photographers under 2K!

Realistically, can you find a good (and I stress good) photographer under $2000 whose packages include Unlimited pic, 9-10 hours coverage, 12 x 12 album, e-pics, high resolution images??

I've gone to 2-3 appointments already and have another 3 set up and the prices I am getting is way over 3k.

FH is making me a crazy woman because he seems to think it nuts to spend that kind of money on a photographer. HIS budget is 3K for photographer AND vidoegraphy!! I am like you a crazy man??

We're having a difficult time coming to a understanding about photography/videography and he thinks it stupid to spend 5k on some taking pics. I've tried the 'I'll pay for it with my money.' His response - 'well we can put that money towards something for the house we'er buyng.' Now dont get me wrong. We HAVE ALREADY put aside enough money for a DOWNPAYMENT AND FURNTURE.

I'm basically going bonkers here because we've been arguing for the past 3-4 days about this and getting NOWHERE.

I am sorry for the long post!! And advice??

you def can find a photographer for under 2k, try 12th night...not sure if it will include albums bc albums alone can be pretty expensive.

I booked with 12th night and got an AWESOME (and HUGE) package for in the neighborhood 2K. However, I did not get an album.

You could also try Silverfox. They were my second choice. Their services are a la carte so the packages are SUPER customizable and the prices were very reasonable.

I had been wondering the same thing a while ago but never found anything when I was looking. My parents were driving me crazy about costs so I got my photographer to include a little bit more in our package.

Then I spoke with several of my friends who have said they have found people for much less. No idea the quality of the work.

I'm meeting with somone next week that supposedly does video and photography for $1895. I'm not sure what he offers in the package. Plus my friend found him so I don't have his info. I can pass on the info if you like. Just remind me next week. I only wanted to meet with him to find out about video since I have have photography set. Not sure when we are going.

Making apts is the best way to go, this way you can show FH how expensive all this really is, Make sure he not only see's the costs but the quality of their work. Thats what I did with my parents and they were happy.

Thank you guys so much for helping me. I'm going to finish off my appts next week and then sit with FH and compare prices.

I wont go crazy but I will set a REASONABLE budget!!

FH actually met with 12th Night. They do have good packages, but not albums, or even printed pics are included. Those are all extra. You literally get a DVD with your pics and that's it

yea with album it can run high, albums are pricey
