Try Ken hild, he is also in the area. I felt the same about North Island and had issues with Lighthouse but ultimately I think it led me to the perfect decision.

Honestly, we went to a wedding and ALL of the guests realized how nasty he was. In the church, they started the processional before he was down the aisle and made them start all over again.
Also, the bride has a lot of scarring on her face from a burn when she was younger. He kept insisting they photoshop it, but she was refusing since it is what she actually looks like. He was annoyed with her decision and made her feel really uncomfortable. My FH was in the wedding party and said the photographer made their time taking pictures a nightmare.
When we met Gina, our photographer, we loved her personality and have heard she's a little firecracker when taking photos. I think personality is extremely important!

Personally as much as I do believe that both are important, I personally think that a photographer getting and understanding my vision is slightly more important. But I get that everyone is different! Do what gut tells you! Good luck!

this. FH and I bonded with Ken Hild in a heartbeat. FH actually TEXTED me while we were in the meeting with Ken and was like 'him'. This made me SO happy because I've been in love with Ken's work for a while now!

I went the other day to NI Photography. They had amazing portfolio's however they were very pricey. Trying to see maybe if we can customize a package moreso for our budget. Have an appt with Light House on Sunday. Keeping my fingers crossed we find something within our budget and soon. I did not throw in the towel just yet with NI Photgraphy but she want to see what else is out there. Good Luck Ladies
