i like both dates, if oct. is cheaper then def. take that. september has a romantic sound to it too....whatever you choose will be good. 10-4-08 or 9-27-08 hmm...the second one looks prettier on paper i guess, lol, but then again if the both of you will be off then oct. is better.....sorry im not much help!

To change my wedding date too!!

Ok so if FH agrees....he is being a PITA right now saying
1. i could help plan with you like the invites and stuff YAH RIGHT he will stuff the envelopes thats about it

2. well lets not rush (UM hello...I WANNA GET MARRIED!! haha no but honestly i dont see why we should wait we will def have the $$ saved up by then and he will have 3 months to relax once home from Japan and no parents complaining that we moved in together before we were married-ok well only 3 months before )


ok..so anyway here are the dates i picked and why
1. Sept 27 2008(Sat)
I will be attending hofstra for my masters and they for some odd reason have off from school Sept 29-Oct 1st (means I can go on my honeymoon right away and not worry about missing a week of school)

2. October 4th 2008 (Sat)
Hofstra again has off from Oct 8-9 and for the same reason i will most likely not be missing any days of school for my honeymoon!!!!!

Now I dont know which one i would rather have because i want the weather to be nice- and i am also not into doing a Fall theme....

YAH!!!

help me convience FH- i will tell him to look on here tonight to get great advice from you girls

why are you changing your date?

I like both dates-I would put them in a hat and pick it that way.

i am on the phone right now with FH and chatting about it...he is harder to persaue than i though

i think sptember might be better. the weather is usually better. keep us posted with your decision

if you have more days off in sept, you should go that date

hehe i am soo bad...last night on the phone Fh and I were talking about it and i was like well lets compromise we can live in the apt above your parents house (which is free) for like a year until we can afford a house (cause i wanted to get our own apt) and then we can have our sept wedding in 08

but if dont have a sept 08 wedding we get our own apt That is great compromising i though

but really...FH understands my reasoning but he doesnt want to feel rushed so we are going to check out prices when he is home in June and def book but rely on the prices to pick our date for us....I keep telling him though that Sept of 08 will def def be cheaper than May of 09

(what about prices though for Sept on a Sat evening is it still pricey??)

Saturday is definetly more $$ then a sunday or even an afternoon wedding. But try and negotiate with them if you really like the place.
