Does anyone do these? I have just discovered it and love it - I really feel it in my muscles. Anyone had success with it?

Re: Pilates
I have not gone in a while, today will be my actual first day back to doing pilates. Talk about building your core, strong abs, strong back. I love it.

Re: Pilates
How did you get involved with Pilates? Did you go to a class or did you use a tape?

Re: Pilates
i love pilates, but my gym only offers it twice a week. Mondays at 9:30 and Wednesday nights at 6:15. I can only go Wed. bc i am a teacher. So i only get to go once a week I wish they offered it more...

Re: Pilates
I go every week. I love it. I take the mat classes. Do you do it at your gym? I go to a studio in huntington. They started with a few mat classes and now they have them every night and saturdays. It is a bit of a hike for me, but it is a great place to go for it. Great for the abs!!!!

Re: Pilates
I just started doing pilates and I really like it. I tend to not work out on my stomach (because I hate crunches!!) . This is a great alternative. I just started ... I've taken about 4-5 classes so far.

Re: Pilates
My gym just started the class. I have taken ab classes where they use the ball, but my back always hurts.

Re: Pilates
I just ordered Winsor Pilates. I like doing it on my own time in the comfort of my own home.
I did Yoga tonight, the first time since my c-section and OMG my abs are killing me!!!

Re: Pilates
I am a HUGE fan of Pilates. I have been doing it almost every day for the past 8 weeks, and I've lost 25 lbs. (Pilates, combined with other things-healthy diet, cardio, drinking tons of water, etc.) I feel like nothing else works your body the way Pilates does. My stomach is not only completely flat now, but I am starting to notice definition in my abs! I have a Pilates tape that I bought at Ulta but, I really want to get the Windsor Pilates series!

Re: Pilates
I love it too! I go to a studio for the 'reformer' session once a week and one mat class a week. I am petite and have never had a weight problem but I am soooo much more toned and tighter now that my clothes fit me looser and I look longer and leaner somehow (I was a gymnast and have always had to contend with big quads!). It really works.
