Please help me choose an appetizer!!!! POLL

We're having a hard time deciding on an appetizer and we meet with the BM on Sunday to pick the menu. We obviously want something that the majority will like, we just can't figure what that might be. Your input will be GREATLY appreciated, ladies

P.S. There wasn't enough room on the poll to describe the last choice, so here it is:

Crespelle alla Ortolana:
Crepes stuffed with Mushroom or broccoli, ricotta filling served with sauce 'aurora'....a blend of plum tomatoes, basil, sweet onion, prosciutto, sundried tomatos with a touch of cream...

Look at the rest of your menu (including CH choices) and whichever of your appetizer choices is only available there go with that one.

I voted for eggplant bc many people (including myself) are allergic to shellfish......

haha....I didn't vote for that because my DH is allergic to eggplant! Guess that just goes to show you can't please everyone!

What is your cocktail hour like? do you have shrimp for the cocktail hour? any foods similar?

I voted for melon, although I really like the last one. It stinks that you can't get things that are different because yuo have to worry that a lot of people don't like it.

Definitely the crespelle. Had that at a wedding there and it was hands down the best appetizer I had at a wedding. It was so tasty.

you should see what the hall will do if there are guests that are allergic (i.e. will they give them a fruit cup for something instead)

the shrimp cocktail is always great, as well as the crespella

I voted for the crespelle - my mom makes them and they are out of this world...its also something different...most of the other choices will most likely be in your CH...if not the crespelle than the melon
