Please pray for MOH's baby-------UPDATED with encouraging news
My MOH had a baby boy this morning. He is not able to breathe on his own and the doctors say he will need open heart surgery within 6 months. There are all different specialists looking at him. They say the prognosis is good.
PLEASE pray for this baby that he will be alright. I can't believe that this could even happen. I don't even know what to say to her!
UPDATE I went tonight to see the baby. He is absolutely gorgeous! It was not nearly as bad as I expected.
MOH seems to feel a lot better than yesterday. The doctors say that his condition is 'nothing that can't be fixed.' He's going for one procedure tomarrow and we will know more then. I went there and was as positive as I could be. I made a joke and even got MOH's husband to laugh!

I am so sorry to hear this. I know how scary it can be -- we went through a lot with my cousin.
I know it is hard but try and stay positive -- it will be the best for your friend and the baby. Babies thrive on positive energy -- it is amazing. Talking, singing, human touch. I have honestly watch a miracle happen. As if you dont know, your friend is going to need you a lot even if it is just someone to sit with.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers! Please keep us updated.

His name is Nicholas, that is very good advice , to stay positive. I will try to remember that! Thank you so much for the kind thoughts and encouragement!

I'll keep everyone updated. It's so frustrating bc I don't even know what to say to her. Everything I was saying just seemed all wrong. Then I just said that they are in my prayers and that I loved her.

I don't think she expects you to know what to say. Just being there for her to vent, cry, laugh is the best thing you can do.
