My MOH had a baby boy this morning. He is not able to breathe on his own and the doctors say he will need open heart surgery within 6 months. There are all different specialists looking at him. They say the prognosis is good.
PLEASE pray for this baby that he will be alright. I can't believe that this could even happen. I don't even know what to say to her!![]()
UPDATE
I went tonight to see the baby. He is absolutely gorgeous! It was not nearly as bad as I expected.
MOH seems to feel a lot better than yesterday. The doctors say that his condition is 'nothing that can't be fixed.' He's going for one procedure tomarrow and we will know more then.
I went there and was as positive as I could be. I made a joke and even got MOH's husband to laugh!

Im sorry to hear about this!!! i'm sure eveyrthing will turn out just fine!!!!
i had open heart surgery when i was 1 1/2, had a hole and problems with the valves. I know it put my mom through hell b/c i was sick alot so i'm sure your cousin will have a hard time too, all you can do is be there for her!!

I am so sorry to hear that. How heartbreaking for a new mom, but it is good to hear that the doctors are positive. I will be sending all my positive thoughts to them
