Please Pray For Us

My fiance, only 29 years old, has some abnormal lymph nodes and an enlarged spleen. We still need to get tests done but words like lymphoma and leukemia have already been thrown out. It seems like such a mess and so unfair.

He's so sweet...he says that this is a sign that we shouldn't wait and that we should get married tomorrow. That makes me even sadder.

Ill be thinking about you both! I hope everything works out.

Does cancer or leukemia run in his family? If it does, his concern is understandable but he should relax until all his tests are complete. I pray that everything will come out negative and he'll be just fine. Please keep us updated.

Oh my, I will send you all the good prayers I can. And tons of hugs too Please let us know how it turns out.

I know his grandparents both died of cancer. But I think they were old when they got it. Right now, it's the not knowing that's driving me crazy.

You and your FH are in my prayers. Please though, relax and wait to hear all the facts first. It may turn out to be nothing but a virus his body is trying hard to fight off. You'll drive yourself insane with all the what-ifs.

Another thing, I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma when I was 25 and have been in remission for 2.5 years. More times than not, its very curable. Times have really changed. Do yourself a favor and STAY OFF THE INTERNET doing your own research!!! It will only craze you too. My prayers are with you both!

i know it can be difficult... i will say though that my dad was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma almost 4 years ago- went through chemo and everything and to look at him today you would never know he went through it... all the doctors told him that lymphoma is one of the more CURABLE- not just treatable- cancers. just wanted to share that with you.

I agree with this. Please don't worry until you have something to worry about. I too, had a cancer scare a few months ago and it wasn't anything but I drove myself crazy. I'm sending you hugs

Also, if it turns out to be something, you will fight it together and he will win. Have faith.
