We paid under $1400 for ours. My husband had a connection at Sony.

Re: PLEASE recommend me a GOOD large screen Tv & a good size to get

We paid $2700 (including the $300 protection plan and taxes) for our 55 inch wide screen Mitsubishi. We bought from the Big Screen Store because they had the newer models that Best Buy/Circuit City. No PC Richards in MD so I don't know anything about them.

It's just too bad Scott won't ever be able to join me in a visit to your house. You'd have to adopt him!

Re: PLEASE recommend me a GOOD large screen Tv & a good size to get

Cool TV!!

Jenn, just be careful... if your DH is a video game junkie like mine is, he can't play his games (Playstation, Xbox, etc.) on a projection screen or else the image will get burned into the screen permanently. So keep a backup for games, if he's into that! I'm sorry if you already know this, but my in-laws found that out the hard way, so I thought I'd pass along the info...
