I went to Dr. Melissa Oppenheim, but stopped going to her because I thought she was snooty. My sister still goes there but she goes to Dr. Henry K. Prince
Dr. Prince just delivered my cousin's baby two weeks ago also and apparently he's amazing.
I got to Dr. Steven Cohen in his Woodbury Office, but he has a Little Neck office too: 55-15 LITTLE NECK PKWY LITTLE NECK, NY11362 Phone: (718) 281-1800
I'm currently looking for a new one because I just don't 'love' Dr. Cohen anymore, but he's a good doctor.

I have an excellent, excellent dr. in fresh meadows, when I moved to suffolk I didn't mind driving all the way there 'cause she's that good, but now, I kinda want somebody near me when we start planning to have babies 'cause driving to her is 1 hr to go there ans 1hr to get back and this is without traffic her name is dr. Na-Chuang

Also my future father in law is an OBGYN but i dont use him (obviously that would be weird but he has a fabulous reputation)

I go to Dr Sherman Rubin. He is in the same office with Dr. Lantner in Hewlett. Excellent office! He is a family friend and an amazing doctor. Dr Prince is still around? Wow, I used to work for him when I was in college many moons ago! He is a really nice guy.

Dr Pollack and Dr Barbaccia on N. Village in RVC,right behind Mercy Hospital. Our family has been going to that practice for many many many years (Dr Pollack delivered me, my sister and my mom!) LOVE them.

I am looking for a new OB/GYN now too because I use Dr. Oppenheim and I think she is too snooty and rushes! I thought it might of been me being too sensitive but I guess not!

I have had a lot of GYn problems in my lifetime, and I have 2 great doctors in Suffolk thT I stopped going to because my insurance changed years ago and they didn't accept it... I found out this morning that I got new insurance and I'm having an issue that could have been serious so I needed to see someone today... I've done the 'go to a random doctor because he's covered' thing and that never amounts to anything good... so I wound up just going to one of my old MD's. BUT I'll keep this thread for the future because I'm going to need someone new and nearby on a regular basis.
Luckily, thank God, my problem today is nothing serious. Still have to have bloodwork and a sonogram done, but hopefully it'll pass on its own.

I go to Dr Steven Cohen in Little Neck and I love him. I've been seeing him for 11 years. I went in for my regular GYN checkup with a cough and he hooked me up with Z-pak and other meds not GYN related. Plus I was feeling fat and asked the med tech not to weigh me and they were totally cool about it. Cohen even gave me my Latisse script.
