poll: Do you have Breast Implants

Original post by Janice

Re: poll: Do you have Breast Implants

I have a lot of friends (actually one group of women I know) who all had 'lifts' after they finished having children. They were all average to large breasted and they just had them lifted and reshaped. If you have enough to work with it's much more natural IMO ....

No I don't have them. I don't know anyone who has had this done either.

Same with me... actually I know quite a few people who have done the opposite and had reduction.

I have never met anyone who has had a reduction. I don't know anything about them..size wise..how much is too much?

the people I know had them b/c they were having back problems. I guess how big is too big depends on teh person, but when it causes you pain, that's big enough!

The people I know who had reductions were having serious back problems associated with it.

To the girls that want them ... why?

I know I'd rather get rid of mine because I am 5'0' and I am a 34 DD ... I am extremely disproportioned and all of my tops are either too big on the belly or skin tight on the boobies or just end up totally stretched out after one wearing. I've always had this problem. It's the first thing people comment on when joking around with me and it gets annoying. I can't hide them, so I try to do the best I can with what I wear. It still gets comments. The day of my wedding people commented how BIG my chest was.

I've had them for about 6 years and have NEVER ONCE regretted my decision. They are GREAT!

And to the people that give me a hard time about it, I always say to them two words....'Personal decision.'

I don't really know how to answer that except that it would make me feel better about myself.

OK. I guess it's the same for me - a smaller size and I'd feel a lot less like a walking boob.
i.e. self-conscious.

I want to get a lift and went for a qoute about 2 years ago.

The doctor told me that they must take out 3 pounds of each breast for the insurance to cover it.

I am a full D and the doctor goes, if I do that you have nothing left

I don't have them but I would love to have bigger boobs. Both my cousins have implants and they love them and they are younger then me.

I wish I could have a reduction ...

My co-worker got them last year and she loves them. I think she looks fake when she wears tight shirts.

Re: poll: Do you have Breast Implants

my friend had hers done not too long ago and my younger sister just had hers done two weeks ago! both are very happy with their decisions!

i think it is so common now --no one realizes this b/c women are getting them done to look much more natural --not huge like pamela anderson -- you really can't tell nowadays...

Re: poll: Do you have Breast Implants

one of my friends is very tall and skinny, she had them done to be a full B (or maybe a C) and they look completely natural and really nice.
And she's much more confident/happier with herself now.

If it works for you, then do it but you should all know you are all beautiful in all shapes and forms. Big breasted, small chested, tall, short, blond hair, brunette ... it's what makes us different and special!

I was hoping to see less girls with them on the poll.

Does anyone think that you need them to have more self esteem?

Just curious.
