I feel like I have more friends with implants then without..is it really that common?

I want to get a lift and went for a qoute about 2 years ago.
The doctor told me that they must take out 3 pounds of each breast for the insurance to cover it.
I am a full D and the doctor goes, if I do that you have nothing left
Oh, not true, 3lbs...you know how much that really is in reality? I had it and maybe a total of 2lbs came out of both total. It's more skin than anything.

I don't have them and don't want them. I would like my breasts to be larger (i'm a B - barely), but I personally don't believe in elective surgery for aesthetic reasons.

my aunt just had a reduction 2 weeks ago.....she went from a 42 double d, to a 40 c cup... she's recovering, but its been a rough 2 weeks...stitches came out about a week ago, and one side just refuses to heal properly...she's going back tomorrow for a follow up... She doesn't regret it one bit! She said it's taken a weight off her back..literally
I do have friends who have implants..several actually...one friend has had the following: - implants - lipo - tummy tuck - gastro by-pass
she looks good with clothes on, but without clothes, she looks like a subway map..

I have the same issue as jan05...my body is what I would call average size but my chest it much bigger than the rest of me and its such a pain to find clothe that fit, especially dresses. with implants though, I don't think you have to wear a supportive bra so you can wear all the fun tops that I can never wear unless I wear my strapless armour underneath!

I was really surprised by the number of 'yes' answers too. I don't (think) I know anyone who has had their boobs done.
I don't want implants, but I'm sure in 5-10 years I'd love to lift those suckers up.

Nope and wouldnt want them either.....
I must say though, MOST I can tell are fake especially w/ the huge gap in between the cleavage is a real give away--I guess it all depends on who does the job.

I've had them for about 6 years and have NEVER ONCE regretted my decision. They are GREAT!
And to the people that give me a hard time about it, I always say to them two words....'Personal decision.'
