I would never tell him he couldnt do something. Especially for a friends bachelor party. Im his wife, not his mother.

i chose other b/c it's not an issue for me and my fh in our relationship. he doesn't like them so we never even really discussed it because there is no need. i would actually have to force him TO go. but that's our situation. just wanted to clarify b/c it said please explain if you choose 'other'.

I'm not a fan of them, but either is he. As he said the bachelor party is really for the other guys going and not the him, so if that's what they want to do, well then go for it. I have four brothers who are all groomsmen, so I'm sure though things may be wild they are not going to get out of control.
