it doesnt bother me, it is going to come up eventually (FH rarely goes) so when it does, it is not a big deal

he is not into strippers, but is doing the stripper thing for the bachelor party- Its no big deal...am I happy about it??? No, But it is not worth the fight- and to be honest, its one night... if he were a frequent goer and was really into it, totally different story!

For me it isn't a matter of trust. I can't see him ever cheating on me, and as far as the skanks go, I never considered whether or not I trust them.
I don't think he belongs there. Neither does he. Besides, he prefers a good sports bar any day of the week.

Just a funny note- everyone here seems to think there FI are not into strip clubs. Although this could be very well true- I highly doubt that all these guys are not into strip clubs, especially for a bach party. My FI tells me the same thing, but I'm sure he's just making it sound better so I don't get mad. Think about it, do you really think he's going to come home and say OMG this one girl had the hottest tits, hehe.
We have a relationship where he can be honest with me if he winds up at a strip club one night. It's alot worse to lie about it than to just go for a bach party.

See it has nothing to do with trust for me. I understand what you're saying and i'm sure that it happens like you said. But for me, my FH and i talk about these things. He went to the strip club for his friends bachelor party and i have no problem asking or hearing about how this girl was hot or this one had huge boobs. I even asked how they danced. I don't mind hearing it because 1- he's not touching them and 2- afterall, he's coming home to me at the end of the night, not them!

My answer is no. I feel very strongly about it ad he knows this, so he didn't go for his party and said that he'd also sit out the portions of any of his friends' bachelor parties if they went to a strip club. I'm laid back about a lot of things and I'll say 'whatever' but this isn't one of them. I made this clear to Fh way before we even got engaged. Fortunately, he doesn't like them anyway and thinks strip clubs are a waste of money, but I couldn't be with someone who wouldn't respect my feelings on this. JMO.

I don't think it's fair to say that my FH is lying to me because he told me he hates strip clubs. Every guy is different. Maybe he doesn't want to pay $10 for a beer, maybe he's OCD about cleanliness and is afraid he'll 'catch' something from a girl, maybe he's really shy and doesn't want a strange woman naked in front of him, maybe he's really good with money and thinks it's a total waste, maybe he just thinks the hottest woman in the world is at home waiting for him.... Whatever his reason, I don't think any of the guys telling their FW's that they hate strip clubs and aren't going is lying. I know what you're saying, maybe some guys are saying 'Oh, I got DRAGGED to this club, it was such a bummer' instead of 'Oh, I had such a great time, those girls were waaaay hotter than you' but I can totally believe if a guy says 'I hate strip clubs, I had to pay $15 for a rum and coke!!'
not saying to not believe him i just think it's funny that all these men hate strip clubs- doesn't seem very possible. totally not a personal post towards anyone...

My FH does not care at all about strip clubs and not because it's me. They did not want one when Best man got married. They even kicked out the stripper that showed up anyway from the limo company. They don't want one for FH's bach party. Just want to be with the guys and have fun!
Why is it weird? Everybody does not HAVE TO go to strip clubs.
I think that would be stereotyping all men. Just like all women like shopping, right?
FH is going gambling. That's what he wants to do. That's what he enjoys doing when he can.

FH isn't into strip clubs and we want a jt bachelor/bachelorette party and I wouldn't care if I got him a stripper but he would flip if I had a male stripper.. go figure.. so we all my go to AC and during the day the girls get Spa treatments and at night we all go out together!!

In my opinion; I think the men who tell us they 'dont like' strip clubs are telling a lie!!! Of course they like it, they see naked women for goodness sake! They CHOOSE not to go because they love us so much. Which is a beautiful thing!!! My FH doesnt go to strip clubs, he tells me that the women there are gross, I translate that into 'honey I love you and I get to see your boobies for free'!!!!

i agree with you. my FH is a little different i guess. he HATES sports, doesnt drink (doesnt like the taste- in fact he has never gotten drunk before), doesnt smoke- nothing. he doesnt have a desire to go to a strip club, he just doesnt care. and no he isnt gay.
me on the other hand- i am the complete opposite. friends always joke that i am the guy in the relationship. i like to drink, party etc. i dont mind strip clubs and i have gone to a few with my guy co workers. if FH wanted to go with me i wouldnt mind, but he doesnt want to and he is shy, so i respect that. he hates staying up late and the *few* times we went out to a trance club, he was bored.
