Poll - Walking down the aisle with veil?

Do I have to have the veil over my face when walking down the aisle? Why can't I just leave it back?

Not to sound horrible but I don't want my dad to mess it up!!

100% yes.

Its the MOH's job to fix your veil and train - don't worry about Dad messing it up!

I would wear it whichever way you want it...back or over your face. Don't worry about your dad messing it up...your MOH will flatten it out.

I am wearing mine over my face for just the walk down the aisle. Will have my dads (not sure which!) pull it back when we get to the altar. MOH will be in charge of making sure it looks good, lol.

You don't have to wear it over your face. Some brides do, some don't. I didn't. Then it blew off anyway!

It's your choice. Do what you want. A lot of brides don't wear veils at all, so why would you have to wear it over your face?

I'm not wearing it over my face. It's superstition that it protects your from the evil eye. I'm not too worried about that and I'm going to be spending a ton on hair and make-up, so I want to show it off.

I am wearing a blusher only because it will make my parents happy.

I had my veil on, but I forgot to put it over my face!!!

I wore my veil over my face and my dad flipped it over just fine. He eve made sure the lace edge was all smooth before walking away! He was a real champ I must say!

I'm not wearing it over my face. It's a personal preference I think. I tried to practice walking with it over my face and it was really uncomfortable and I couldn't see all that well. I just didn't like having something in my face like that. So I'm going to walk with the veil already back.

I did-I wanted to do that. If you want to wear it over your face before you go tell your dad to do it nice and neat and raise it high-and nice...if you want to practice it

I am going to wear it over my face. I want my dad to lift if up, I want to see that in pics after all is said and done. I think that will make for a cute pic. I will just make sure that my MOH knows to fix it if it is not flat!
