Poll: What brand is your dress, where did you get it, and how much did you pay?

The dress that I want is demetrios and it's $2000....I haven't bought it yet because i'm having trouble spending so much on a dress i'm only wearing once! I saw it the Macy's Bridal Salon on 34th street.

Yes I had too! I was having dreams of myself in it ... Thanks sooo much! you really helped me soo much because I think I would still be bummed and deciding but you made me see that its perfect and I really can't wait to get it!!!

I'm not exactly sure either lol, but I think it was more or less just saying to choose with my heart, and eventually it finally made up its mind .. my FH probably is soo thankful too, because I have been so bummed out lately about not being able to choose, and he can't see them so he gets frustrated that he can't help, soo now that I purchased it I've been all smiles

My dress is from David's Bridal and it's their brand. It cost $550 + tax

Mine is Casablanca 1831, paid $700 (before tax & alterations) - from Valentina bridal in Bklyn.

I havent ordered it yet,,, but the one that I like is @ $485- before tax, or fees. It is a Bonny dress

Well whatever it was glad it worked lol. Yeah TRUST me i know, i drove FH insane with the dress process but hey its a big decision lol. YAY well now that part is over and its a choice you are extremely happy with

Maggie Sottero...reg cost $1200...I know someone who owns a bridal salon and only paid $605

I bought my James Clifford dress at Bridal Reflections Massapequa for about 2300. More than I thought I'd spend, but I LOVE the dress

Mine is Maggie Sottero 'Brittanya'

I bought it down in south Florida, going to pick it up in 3 weeks!!

It was $1200.

I got my dress from Macy's at manhatsette for $1200 (include alteration) original was $1600 with out alteration.

If you ladies were thinking about going to Macy's you should look for their trunk sale dates, because they will take 15% off any dress you buy that day. That's how I got mine so cheap. =)


I thnk their next sale is this weekend... i just got a email from thekot, let me know if you want me to forward it to you.

Any thoughts on your gown spending process

I honestly would say ONLY do it if you are comfortable with it, if you have doubts and think you'll regret it then don't. I did splurge on the dress but i was comfortable with the decision, its completely up to you and don't feel like you have to if you don't want to.

But if you are comfortable with it and its within your budget then do what makes you happy
