Our parents aren't paying for the wedding so we just used 'together with their parents' to be nice. I would have used 'son of ' and 'daughter of' but it would have gotten to confusing and scandalous with all the divorces and re-marriages so I played it safe.
Hmmm I was going to say that we arent putting any parents names on it since we are paying for the whole thing ourselves (besides my mom paying for my dress) but this sounds nice....we are in the same boat with the divorces and all that jazz.

We included both sets of parents because I wanted everyones names on the invite.. Regardless of who was paying for what..
i agree. that is what we did. we wanted everyone to be included

I am 38, he is 39, second wedding for both, so no parents' names. First time around I was 27, mom paid most of the wedding, dad deceased...so we put my mom, and his parents later.
