I was shocked to learn one of my girlfriends doesn't even pee in front of her husband (10 years) she doesn't think it's proper. She was flabbergasted when I told her I use the toilet in front of my man..and even well..pass gas in front of him...Hey at least he loves all of me!!! PLEASSSSSE tell me I'm not alone!!!! (You guys probably think I'm nuts!!!! but at least we'll get a good laugh out of this thread...be honest!!!!) ...Jessica inserts smiley face holding nose here...

I will not intentionally pee in front of him unless he is in the bathroom shaving and I ABSOLUTELY HAVE to go- I will just go.
Other bodily functions I will not do intentionally as well, but if it happens by accident oh well.
It is not that I am uncomfortable around my man, but there are some things I just don't do.

I have no problems saying we do alot in front of each other. #1, #2, gas, burps whatever. Sometimes, (this may be TMI for some) but this is how comfortable we are, we have convos while the other is handling their business. If I can do some things in front of my girlfriends and vice versa, why wouldn't I do them in front of my bestest friend?

I fell in the shower once, and my FH had to run in and drag my sobbing, dripping wet, clumsy, bruised a$$ out of the shower, so after that we kind of lost all inhibitions

We do everything but #2 in front of each other, although sometimes he gets 'camera shy' when he has to do #1 also. Says he can't concentrate.

Well, I'm the minority. BUT, I don't do it in front of my girlfriends either. Not even my sister, right shyone.
It's not a matter of comfort for me but just who i am. I am VERY comfortable with him and he with me but I don't need/want to see him do his business and thankfully we have 2 bathrooms. No emergency situations here.
If I fell, TOTALLY differnet story. I mean, he's held my hair back when i was throwing up sick in Cancun but #2 is just private.

I guess I'm 'proper' too. There are some things that I like to keep a mystery. I don't know what DH would do if I farted in front of him. He thinks that it's medically impossible for women to do that!

I will pee in front of Matt (hell I had 3 kids in front of him!) but no farts no #2. He on the other hand will call me in the bathroom to talk while he is on the pot and he farts constantly!!! He farts on purpose on airplanes and then giggles. I swear he is truly a fourth grader at heart!

The only reasons I have done it in front of my friends and they have done it in front of me is b/c of those drunken nights in college when there were 6 of us in 3 suites with 2 actual toilets and we were all racing for the BR. Living with 6 girls in one apartment, there is alot of gas and burps being passed around. I also went to an all girl school for 2 years and it was no holds barred there. I won't tell you ladies who is the worst in my house at passing gas. And its not my dad!
Luna...lol I saw that book in a bookstore and chuckled...a woman came up to me and said 'that book really works!!!'
We do everything in front of each other...not intentionally (I don't call him over...we just don't really close the doors) but #2, sometimes I have to concentrate...so I'll close him out...
As for farting...our dog farts worse than either of us could ever imagine or want to ...and he does it every 1-5 mins at night...so when we fart it is NO BIG DEAL AT ALL!!!
Suzanne...we do the dutch oven to teach other...especially when the dog farts...
I dated someone...he went to the bathroom #2...and I was talking to him through the door...and he got all freaked out...I knew I had to end it...
I guess if you are comfortable...so for it...if not...don't...
btw...I cannot #2 in public...there's the seat issue, among others...

I think we are just so comfortable with each other nothing phases us. If he is in the shower and I have to go to the bathroom or vice versa we do.
If i am sick and puking my guts up he'll hold my hair for me
