What is the average price of BM dresses? What do you guys feel is ok to ask the girls to spend, w/o alterations? Thank you!

i would say about $150 is reasonable for a dress they will only wear once... over $200 for me is too much, b/c with alterations it becomes a lot.
My girls got theirs for under $100!!! Bargain of the year lol. I really didn't think it was fair to ask them to spend over $150 before alterations and tax...there are so many expenses involved with being in a wedding party. JMHO...
mine were $165 w/o alterations. Renate's in Lindenhurst offers discounts for more dresses purchased, as I am sure others shops do.
I am hoping to keep it under $200 because I know what a pain it is to pay a lot. I am also hoping that I can get something in black or navy to say the typical 'you can wear it again!' line
I would say $200-$225
My bridesmaids brought their dresses at RK bridal in the city. If they purchased them and took their own measurements and do alterations somewhere else.. it was 110 and the store is not responsible if its wrong... If they did store measured them its 150 and then they had to do alterations there but they wouldn't exceed 65 dollars. So MAX is going to be 215 after alterations.
