Printed your envelopes out yourself?
We were going to go with Nicole from weddingink but she will not be able to do our envelopes till April. Everyone else is about $1-$2 per envelope and need about 2 weeks to get them done. So has anyone printed their evelopes out themselves on their printer? I dont see how hard it can but but our envelopes are textured. Please give me your feedback!!!

I printed my own and used a script font. First, I would cut a sheet of paper the same size as the envelope and do some test prints to get the alignment correct. I would then do a test run on an envelope to make sure the alignment came out properly. Also after it dries (if your printer is inkjet)rub your finger over it to make sure the ink doesn't smear (I had this problem because my envelopes are metallic, but I fixed it).You could also go to Kinkos or Staples to print them from what I was told.

Re: Printed your envelopes out yourself?
We went to kinkos and they said they will only do labels. Thank you for the info.

Do you have a laser printer? We tried to do it on our ink jet and it smeared. But it seemed to work fine on my mom's laser printer. We are using shiny metallic envelopes so I'm not sure if it would be different on a textured envelope.

i used my ink jet and it worked fine, took me awhile to figure out the settings on WORD to get it to the envelope size (which shouldn't have been difficult at all, im just technologically illiterate!) it was extremely easy and came out great!

Crystal Clear acrylic spray by Krylon fixes that. I had the same issue. All good now.

We are in the process of printing out our own now. We used a script font and they are coming out great.I would definitely do a few test runs on regular paper.

Re: Printed your envelopes out yourself?
I printed mine out on the computer! They came out so good! A couple of them had to be redone because of ink spots though so just make sure you have lots of extras!Welcome New Vendors
