Printing addresses onto labels for invites

Did you just type them up in Word or have a special program for this ? TIA

I am printing mine directly on the envelope. I use InDesign though, so I am probably no help with PC stuff (I am a mac girl) But you should also be able to print right onto the envelopes

For my stragglers I used Word and printed them right onto the envelope

The labels I use are Avery and you can usually download the template for those specific labels from the Avery website for free. It's set up perfectly to print. All you have to do is add the addresses.

We used the labels for the STD and the RD invites and for the wedding invites we just printed right onto the envelopes.

I printed onto the envelope. I just measured it and made a page that big in word and made it landscape. Wasn't as hard as I thought. They came out really nice and there were no label edges.
If you purchase labels they should come with software or direct you to a website where you can download a template. I did this for my STD envelopes.

All the Avery label settings I've used have been already loaded into Microsoft Word.

I fyou go to mailings, then labels, you can change the options and choose the label you have by code number.

I did it in Word - did a test one to make sure it fits perfectly on envelope and then printed it directly on it.

Oh, and you can either type up each label in word right onto the page after you choose your label size or you can do a mail merge with data from an excel sheet.

we printed right on the envelopes for the wedding using a mail merge through excel. the avery labels we used for the eparty invites and probably the rehearsal dinner and whatever label you buy will tell you where to download the template or what template to use
