OK, just finished the text of my very simple, fold 8 1/2 by 11' paper in half horizontally program. Now I want to dress it up a bit with ribbon/bow in the crease. Any pointers? do i use regular hole punch for two holes and then just feed ribbon throough - or is there a better way? please help

program ribboning
Hi!
My friend tied a ribbon around the entire crease of the program (no holes punched). You just feed it through the inside of the crease, then tie the bow on the outside of the program. If it's more than one page, maybe you could staple the inside once (like in a centerfold), then tie the ribbon, which would hide the staple, and it looks beautiful! Good luck - it will look great whatever you decide.

YOu can do the holes, but I'm just tying the ribbon right around the page and tying with a simple knot and will cut the tails to look nice. No hole punching.

My MOH is getting married next month and she is punching 2 holes and using the ribbon that you would normally have your name and date printed on--it is nice and simple (even better if you find the company that cuts it for you)

How do you punch holes?
Here's a silly question. I have my programs printed however can't find a hole puncher long enough to make a hole at the center of the page. I'm using 8-1/2 x 11 size paper and folding them in half. I tried looking for a hole puncher in all the office supplies and craft stores but can find any that would extend to the center of the page. Help!

After you fold them punch the hole from the side-- so it will look like a half moon on each side--no one will notice because the ribbon will be sticking out of it
hope that helps
