Programs or No Programs?

Programs or No Programs?

We are having a completely non religous ceremony. There will be no religous significance what so ever. What else would I put in a program?

are they really necessary?

You don't need programs, especially sense everyone pretty much understands what to expect.

If you don't want the hassle of a program, but want to do something consider doing a brief outline on 1 page of good card stock.

This would include the names of people in the wedding party, your officiant and the names of any special readings or music you are including.

I'm doing them - just because. We are having a civil ceremony at a friend's house, but I want to thank the friends, find a way to honor our deceased fathers, and do something my sister didn't do!!

Ditto, just not important to me. Though I have seen some beautiful DIY programs on this board!
