Re: PSA for brides
I thought for a moment you were the bride. But realized you were not as I kept reading. You are the messenger of the bride. It is sad that it had come down to posting such a post (original post).
Following the bitterness, I don't think the person who created this thread should be in the BP. That would be so hypocritical at this point! She knows the bride read the post.

Re: PSA for brides
[The only thing I ask of all of you who are enjoying this thread is to please say prayers for this bride that all goes well on her big day. No one should have to go through this just 4 days before her wedding day. It should be one of the happiest days of her life to be spent with her closest and dearest friends and family wishing her only the best.
I agree with you 100% and the BM who started this whole thing Is not a friend and shouldn't even be part of her day Im sorry but its an Honor to be a part of someones special day ... I pray that the Bride just relaxes and Enjoys her special day & I pray that it turns out to be the best of her LIfe ... Just like a fairy tale ..

Re: PSA for brides
OMG!I started reading this thread out of curiosity from the subject line, and then was hooked worse than any reality tv show. First, as a bride I was offended by the tone the OP used- totally uncalled for. After she made some comments, I thought maybe some could have been valid- after all, there are 2 sides to any story, but the attitude she had was still rude. Then it was just entertaining with all of our LIW girls' chatter and jokes. But when I read that the bride is on LIW and had read the post and responded, I felt sick for her. After reading 10 pages of this, and especially after the reponse from the other BP member, I feel so very bad for the poor bride. It's 4 days before her wedding, I'm sure she's totally stressed out anyway, and now someone who was supposedly such a good friend comes to the LIW site and posted this mean hurtful garbage? What a b*tch. I would be heartbroken if one of my BM's did this to me.
To the OP- you're a cruel and hateful person to post something like that knowing she'd read it. If you did have concerns (which are totally invalid after hearing the bride's side), you should have confronted her privately and rationally. Instead, you've probably caused her a lot of extra stress and heartache. What kind of person are you?
To the bride- please don't let this person ruin your day. Think of all your other friends and family, and all of us here on LIW who are hoping you have the best day of your life and wishing you and your FH all the best. The day is all about the two of you and the love you share. Don't let anyone ruin that for you. And remember, we're always here you.

Re: PSA for brides
Hot dang...almost 24 hours and 10 pages later this thread is still going strong! To the OP: at first I believed you had some legitimate gripes, but after reading your responses, I have this to say, and hopefully it'll give you some perspective:
you're getting your hair and makeup for free (some brides on here can't even afford to do their hair, and they're the bride), you have to wake up at 6am on a Sunday (Heaven-forbid), you might not eat for 6 hours (try not eating for 6 days like some of the CHILDREN in third-world countries, or some here in the USA)....if these are you 'problems' in your life....all I have to say, is that I wish I could walk a day in your shoes for one day...
When you have some 'real' issues in your life - come talk to me...
In the great words of Artie Lange:
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Re: PSA for brides
Thank you to the messenger for posting about this bride. The OP is digruntled for some reason we do not know, and if she is still reading this, I think she should back out now, even if the wedding is in three days. If I were the bride, I would rather have lost the BM than to have this angry, bitter person with me on my wedding day.

Woosa Girls... the messenger said the bride was 'banned' by her FH from reading LIW posts until her wedding.
My 2 cents.... noone deserves that amount of stress 4 days before their wedding.
If you were mad about the situation, you had plenty of time to do it before this week (bad timing!) or hold your peace until the HM is over and confront your friend.

I think the only reason why they wont kick out this wacko BM is because her hubby is the best man and then that is going to porbably cause greater drama and may lead to a Groom with out a Best man. Poor girl

I didn't think of that, it does complicate the issue. Who knows, maybe on the day of, she'll chill.
