Ok, so 3 people saw my pumkin place card holders and said that they were really pretty.
They then immediatley ripped the attached (by glue dots) place card to read it.
They all assumed that you take the card and leave the pumpkin. What hell did I go through all this trouble for
So my question is.....is there a poem or something to let the clueless know that it's their's to keep???????
I am afraid people will see that no one else is taking theirs and will leave them all behind.
You know I always said 'people will know what to do', but after my RSVPs came back with no names and other things that people were toally clueless about, I can't take any chances!!!

maybe you could print a poem like that and frame it on the table?

Thats a great idea. make SURE that yuo tell people somehow because our holders were the favors also and yet because we didn't leave a note, people left them-there were at least 50 of the suckers left behind. SO a little guidance is a good idea.

Maybe you can search for that votive placecard poem, the one that tells the people to go have fun at the cocktail hour and their candle..in your case votive holder will be waiting for you.
