FH and I have committed to getting a puppy when we get back from the honeymoon.
We know we'll 'know' when we find the right puppy but I at least want some ideas of breeds....
So far, we've fallen in love with: a cockapoo, a long haired chihuahua and a shiba inu.
I think we've rulled the chihuahua out...just too small for us....any other ideas? We're in an apartment complex for now but I plan on lots of morning and nightly walks and going home on my lunch break for walks....we don't want anything huge but we don't want anything too small...any suggestions?!?!

If you want I will give you Chunk! He is so handsome! LOL. We live in an apartment, and he fits well. But they are alot of work, but he is soo worth it. He is my baby! Cockapoos are adorable though! My cousin has one, it is so sweet!

OMG....that is my dream dog....FH thinks it's too big for our apartment....
all I want is a big, fat, drooly, farty bulldog....and I want to name is something elegant...like 'Lucille'....so i can call her and everyone will expect a poodle but instead, here comes a sauntering bulldog....

LMAO!! That is funny! Yeah we went with Chunk, cause he is so fat!! We live in a one bedroom apartment, he is always up my butt. He always wants to be next to his mommy and daddy!!

we actually have a long haired chihuahua and we absoluely love him!!! Although he is really really small, only 4lbs. We thought he would be bigger...but he's our baby anyways. Here is Avi as a baby and now at 8 months.

Pugs are my absolute favorite dogs. They are so loveable and just want to be around you. They are smart and funny as all helll.
FH and I will probably get another one once we buy a house. Ollie is the best thing that has happened to us.

I love my Shih Tzu! Pics are in my album. My dog is 25 pounds- huge for a shih tzu! Normall they are about 10-15 pounds. They are great because they have long hair, but there hair does not shed and is allergy free! Good Luck!

I think they're cute...we held one once and I think it was a pug on crack...FH won't even discuss a pug since that incident....

They do get pretty big. Maybe around the same size as golden retrievers. But they're just so freaking adorable!
