We all love our FH, obviously! But there must be times when he drives you a little bonkers. (And nobody's perfect, so I'm sure we do the same to them!) Maybe you even just want to punch him sometimes! But at the end of the day, he's the one you want to marry and there must be a good reason for that. Hence...

What makes your relationship with FH work?

FH and I laugh a lot together. If I'm starting to get irritated about something, he'll try to make me laugh and forget about whatever's bothering me. And vice versa. Laughter is essential for us to work.

There are lots of other reasons too, but that's just one of them. We essentially work as a team!

Ha! You put it perfectly! FH and I have been together for 7 years, 4 years ago we bought a house together and it took A LONG time for us to get used to living with one another!!! Heck we still have our struggles. But honestly, taking time for ourselves is what gets us through. He's a sports fanatic and when he's watching a game I can go in the other room to watch something that I enjoy! But I do agree that laughter is key!

FH and I are so much alike, but also so different so we balance each other out in our relationship. I'm loud, opinionated and a huge planner and sometimes I get caught up in the details. FH is so laid back and he reminds me to just take a step back and enjoy the ride when I'm bogged down. It's yin and yang :)

Great Question.

He makes me laugh & we genuinely have a good time together all the time. We are both big sports fans so he loves that he can sit on the couch all day sunday & not get nagged by me, because I'm sitting there watching too. We are even in the same fantasy football league. I also think that we both get along great with each others families so makes a big difference. He's is more fly by the seat of your pants (very laid back) and I am the planner & more into details so we even each other out. In 5 years together we have been through a lot together & we got through it. We know how to get through the good & the bad & that makes a BIG difference.

He's just perfect. FH is absolutely my better half. He has become my best friend. He knows how to handle me. I am a fairly difficult person and he knows how to 'deal' with me. He knows exactly what to say to calm me down. He has me laughing constantly and I know I can always count on him.


No matter what we're doing we always have a great time... regardless if we're out or just sitting on our couch at opposite ends on our respective laptops.

He's just amazing. I knew our first date that he was the one. When I think about my life now and NOT having him around... I literally get teary eyed.

what makes our relationshio work is that we are opposites..i am an extremely sensitive, worry wort, and he is so laid back so when i get all crazy he brings me back to reality. and as you other girls mentioned laughter...its so impostant we laugh at all the same stuff!

Love this question!

I definitely agree with you on this one. FH and I are always laughing and joking around about something. We're both laid back, and it just works for us. I tend to be a bit of a worrier at times, and he always knows what to say to calm me down.

He makes me smile every single day

Also, it doesn't hurt that we have a lot in common and we're both huge sports fans
We plan on visiting every baseball stadium around the country!

FH and I just fit like two puzzle pieces. Our personalities bring out the best in each other. I'm a little... for lack of a better word... crazy I tend to get loud, excited, and just generally amped up while he is more relaxed. I can bring him out of his shell, and he can calm me down. Together, we're perfect. He can make me laugh at any given time and I think thats the key to our relationship. As cheesy as it may sound, we really do know what the other is thinking. I can always tell what he is about to say and he can do the same. Just thinking about him makes me want to squeeze him! I wish he wasn't at work right now! haha

We are both Leo's so we are both similar but as similar as we are we are just as different- I remember things we have to do and remind him, he knows my morning routine and helps me get things together when I'm running late on Saturdays, he's horrible with money and I'm a saver, I get mad at the big things and he gets mad at the little things... We really balance each other out- bring each other up (and back down when needed!)
Everything about us is based on the ability to compromise and always wanting to make the other happy. When two people both do these things, it just works!

FH & I work because we are SO compatible. We met on EHarmony and were matched on so many levels even Pre-Cana said we were 96% compatible.
We balance each other out and bring out the best in one another. We are both goofballs so laughter is a big key to our success. We have similar interests and although our personalities are somewhat different, what I lack he provides and vice versa. I had always dreamed of being with someone like my FH and am beyond blessed we found one another and I can NOT wait to enter into the sacrament of marriage with him!

FH and I were because we put each other on a pedestal. When we get mad at each other, we just kind of forget about it and move on. Plus I know that no one else (besides my mommy) loves me as much as he does...and visa versa.
