I know some of us are really young, some of us are older, some of us already have kids, or FHs have kids....sooo im interested to hear, given the diverse group of people we have on the boards....
What are your's and FH's plans regarding children after the wedding????
Well, FH is a few years older than me, im 23 he's about to turn 29...as far as he's concerned, BABIES NOWWWWWWWWWW!!! he'd get me pregnant now if he could if it werent for the wedding!! LOL He has asked for a honeymoon baby a few times....
howeverrrr I disagree...i cannot WAIT for kids, seriously, so it's not like I don't want them...BUT I don't have a job yet...I'm still a student...I want my Teacher benefits before i have kids!!! However, I told him we'll compromise...We will wait til our 1st newlywed year is over...I have a job and benefits, and if we try to schedule having the baby where I can take regular maternity leave and have that end right when the summer begins, then that's what we'll do! I won't make him wait all the way til I have my 3 years for Tenure.
So, I'm lookin at hopefully poppin the first one out May/June 2012!!! (I always have my life planned out to a T...ive said forever, Married at 23, first kid at 25...and its already going as planned...God willing, I'll be lucky and healthy enough to get pregnant when I want)

While I was in for surgery for other matters the other day, the dr put some dye in my tubes to make sure they were open. He suggested doing a few things 'while he's in there' and that was one of them.

FH and I are both 25, will be 26 when we get married. We'll probably start trying (I hate that saying lol) around 29. Hope to have the first one by 30.

We would like kids as soon as possbile, but we know that we should spent some time getting our lives togther as a married couple...so we will prob wait a year and start trying around this time next year

We have no set plans as of now...but I am really not interested in having children for at least 2 years after the wedding.

We plan on waiting quite a few years - at the time of the wedding, we'll be just 21 and 23. He has a good job but I'm still a student, so we'd like to wait until I have a good job and we have a house and are well established with money. So probably about 3-5 years we're guessing.

We'll both be 24 when we get married...initially we were talking waiting 5-6 years... I don't think either of us is going to be able to wait that long though

I think we're planning on waiting a year before we start trying. I know we definitely don't want kids immediately (i.e. no HM babies), but I don't want to wait too long either.
ETA: I'll be 2 months shy of 28 when we get married, and he'll be 30. So I'd like to have my first child by the time I'm 30 and he's 32.

Well my clock is ticking. . . . tic -toc! tic-toc! I will be 30 when we get married and my FH will be 31 - he would like soon. I'd like to wait - so I am going to say 1-2 years We need a house first!
We've agreed to start 'trying' a year after our wedding, when I'm 30 and he's 32....but I think that seems so soon! I don't know if we're mature enough yet and ready to stop partying and traveling by then!

We both turn 30 next month. I plan on going off BCP right after the wedding and we'll take it from there.
