Girls I just want to say that I have enjoyed being BOTW, so very much and thank you Amanda for giving me the chance to showcase all my bridal knowledge! I loved getting to know all of you through your answers and I really appreciated all you girls that got deep and let it all out!!!!! So here is my last question for the week, this actually happened to my SIL: What would you say if someone asked you or FH if they could propose to their significant other at the wedding in front of all your guests? How would you feel, POed or honored? What are your thoughts on this idea is it rude or an honor? Has anyone come across this situation yet?
Hell no, this is not going down at my wedding!!!!!!!!! I feel like the wedding is mine and FHs special day and I wouldn't want to share it with another couple. I am not usually a selfish person at heart, but I wouldn't like another couple stealing our thunder!!!!! FH would prob drop the guy on his head

Hell no! Absolutely rude and inconsiderate. There is a time and place and it is not at my wedding. To go all Brizezilla, it is MY wedding, MY special day, not anyone else's. I would totally get ETA:

omg this is actually a secret fear of mine! I dont know why but I always feel like it might happen to us. Honestly, like you said, I'm not normally a selfish person, but this would really upset me! By the time we get married, FH & I will have been together for 12.5 YEARS! We waited long enough and deserve for that 1 day to be about us - that would bring me to have a bit of a bridezilla moment lol
ITA! I've been with FH for 5, will be 6 when we get married, we're not spring chickens either, we're 36 and 43!

Totally agree. My FH proposed to me in the hotel room after my best friends wedding in VA. FH said he thought about doing it at the reception but then he thought that would be rude. I didn't even want to tell her we were engaged, but she happened to look down at my hand and see the ring and she totally flipped out!! She said 'why didn't you tell me???' I told her I didn't want to take anything away from her, and then she replied with she would have been more than thrilled if my FH did it at the wedding. So I think it depends also.

I would be a little po'd. This is kind of like how at my FH's aunt's baby shower a few weeks ago, one of her cousins quietly went around and told everyone that she was expecting. I guess it's better then her standing on a chair to make the announcement but still

No way; this is MY day. Propose that night after the wedding LOL.
I went to a destination wedding and a couple got engaged@ dinner 2nights before the wedding. That was ok; they couldn't have done it the wedding day!
