QOTD 11.8.13

wanted to post this earlier but glorious wedding guest list drama ughhh why does everyone just think they can bring a date? hey can I bring this dude I met 5 minutes ago? anyway lol.

when do you want to have kids after being married? how many? or if you already have kids how many do you have? are you planning anymore?

me and FH want to have kids maybe 2 years after wedding? we want to enjoy being married for awhile. I'm hoping we can go back to Italy and try there lol. just so we can say you were made in Italy!! and I think we want 2. originally we wanted 3 but now I think 2 is good enough.

We already have one, she's 6. And, honestly, the thought of starting all over is like, omgggg... but FH wants one more. He was an only child growing up (he didn't get any siblings until he was 16) and doesn't want her to be an only child. I have 6 siblings, and I'm like, ALL I wanted was to be an only child! I guess the grass isn't always greener. LOL!

So, we'll probably have one more, but not til after we're married. Like, probably RIGHT after, lol. I don't want their ages to be TOO far apart.

FH and I will be one month short of turning 31 and 30 by our wedding day. Since we've done SO much traveling and gotten to live together and enjoy life without babies, we might start trying for a baby right away. It took my mom 7 years of trying before conceiving so just in case it takes me that long, i wanna get started early lol. Ideally, I'd love one year of being married before it happens but we'll be so excited whenever it happens. FH wants 3, I want 4

I already have a daughter from a previous relationship. She is 13 years old. I have been itching for a baby for a while now, even though when I think about starting all over again it kind of freaks me out because my daughter is so indepedent now. FH doesn't have any kids and does want to have at least one, but he isn't necessarily in a rush to start right away. We will see how it plays out.

I think 1-2 years after the wedding I would like to start trying. The thought of me having a baby right now or next year really does freak me out a little bit. When we're ready, I would like to have 3 kids.

We don't live together yet so I want to take the first few years to really just enjoy being married and living with FH. We're looking to enjoy living in an area where there's a lot of night life (good restaurants, bars) and places we can go with each other and our friends.

I said by the time I turn 30 I want to buy a house (I wanna go upstate!) and then start planning to have a family. Ideally I'd like to have 2 or 3 children, but I'd be happy with one healthy child

Our plan is to not. I am gaining a wonderful 5 year old step daughter though who I have been enjoying watching her grow up her whole life. ( we have been dating since she was a month old).. And I have and awesome relationship with her mother so I really couldnt ask for a better family!

FH and I would like to have a honeymoon baby too. Our nephew just turned 1 year old and every time we see him FH has that little twinkle in his eye. Two healthy children would be a blessing.

In an ideal world (where the FH didn't wait 4 yrs to pop the question. )I would like to wait a little bit and enjoy married life sans kids. But, I'm 35 and FH is 39, so my biological clock is moving faster than my mental one....likely gonna start trying on the honeymoon. I joke that I may give birth to benjamin button if we wait much longer. I want one....the FH wants 2 (same arguement over the only child sadness). I keep insisting that if I am blessed with a pregnancy then that's it....he can pray hard for twins. :)

Same here! FH wants to wait a year, but I'm ready like yesterday (at least that's what I'm saying today lol)

I definitely want children and would like 2, however, I have issues with my kidneys that we may only be able to have 1 which is totally fine with us! :) We are going to not 'try' and whatever happens happens, however, we plan on not using any form of birth control once we are married. I am hoping that we can at least enjoy 1-2 years before having a baby but whatever happens happens and we will be so excited! :)

FH and I will have been together 10 YEARS (AHHHH!) the year we get married and we have lived together for 2 already. Plus I will be 28 and he will be 27... We both want a honeymoon baby - I plan on going off birth control the month before the wedding... I'm not messing around! lol :)

I will be graduating a year after we get married, and that's when I will know where my permanent job would take us. We are going to start trying as soon as I get a job, so maybe a year after we are married. We are hoping for two kids. FH and I would ideally like to start trying as soon as we get married, but we are being prudent and are going to wait until we settle down.

We're going to start trying on the honeymoon. I'm 38 and he's 33 and we've lived together almost 10 years already. We've talked about having just one.
