I know when I first got engaged I had my whole wedding planned out in my head which I am sure that most of us did. But plans change. We have all have added stuff to our wedding and changed things that we were going to do. So my question is what has changed from your original plans of your Wedding? What are you not doing now and what are you doing that you were not originally going to do?
-I thought I was going to have a bigger BP than I am - I thought I we were going to have to invite more people - I was planning on having a 12/09 wedding – FH was having it - wasn’t planning on having a videographer, percussionist, DIY invites, DOC, or Flower CP. Now I am having all of that. - I was only going to get a dress for $1000 or under now I don’t care how much my dress is going to cost me.

Re: QOTD 12/18
Everything I planned on having in my 'dream' is working out so far, so I have not had to change my vision! Thankfully my parents are allowing pretty much what we want at this point!

Re: QOTD 12/18
- I thought we would have a bigger wedding, like 250 plus, but the budget got tight
- I had my heart set on 11/09 but didn't work
- Didn't get the place I really wanted
- Thought I would have to pay for my own wedding dress but my mother paid for it, thank goodness bc the price tag was hefty.
- I have had the best bonding experience with my mother over this....even better than i imagined, we are really close
- Didn't think I would get a DOC, but I was blessed and it was the best thing so far....such awesome ideas!!!

Let's see...
- Got a great RH, but not my dream place.
- Spent way more for my dress than I ever thought I would.
- Debating on tea length dresses, never thought I'd consider that.
- Doing DIY invites, slipper baskets, programs, and who knows what else.

Re: QOTD 12/18
everything is really going according to my dream wedding plan. i actually began planning mine & FH's wedding when we first started dating in 2000.
the only things that have changed are:
-i wanted to have it on March 20, 2010 -> our 10 year anniversary but FH wanted a new date.
-i wanted to do a tiffany blue color scheme (since those who know me, know i only where tiffany jewlery) but FH didn't really love the idea. then i quickly learned how hard it is to much everything to that one color.

thought we would have had it during the winter (we originally were going to book March 20, 2010), but found out we could get a sat afternoon in june for the same price... i would have never thought i would be having a june wedding!
Originally we had thought about eloping/get married in Vegas or destination wedding. Once that ring was on my finger boy did things change!

Re: QOTD 12/18
I wanted to get married in some type of mansion...but that is so much more expensive than I thought it would be.
I did get the date I wanted, the church and CHCC are wonderful!!
We haven't done much other planning yet

that would have been awesome to be date twins!!! But yo do know everyone would have come to mine instead of yours lol
We wanted a BIG BIG (well I wanted...) wedding, in a mansion with beautiful made for tv stuff...Reality set in and thats not happening now...But i am 100% happy with our RH and with everything else we have booked so far...
I am still going to try to see how much it would be to get in some great italian wine and have a bottle or two at every table...Might be alot though and might have to pay extra to the hall...

Re: QOTD 12/18
I wish I had more people to invite and could afford it. I feel like my wedding of 75 people is really on the small side. I feel like my room is tiny and it makes me sad!

my parents gave us a budget and that was the budget...so they would only be able to pay for the RH in that case....so fh & i had a decision, either flowerfields or fox hollow. so we chose fox hollow bc we have to contribute less....sounds greedy in a way but now we are able to buy a home. so in a way i chose a house over the dream reception. i'm ok with the choice bc i still love fox hollow and at least now i am looking to buy a home. in the other case, i would not be able to do so.
