When you first brought FH home to meet you parents/family did they like him or did he need to grow on them?

Well...we have been dating since we were 15 so my dad gave him a hard time at first....my dad was very quiet toward him....but he was putting on an act because they are so close now. Everyone loves him though....they always have!

I always dreaded bringing boyfriends home to meet my parents LOL. I don't remember exactly how or when they met (it's been almost 7 years ) but I remember my mom didn't think he was good enough for me because he didn't go to college and didn't plan on it. He also didn't have much of a job at the time either. He was pretty shy back then and not very social so he kinda emitted an attitude. I changed all that though!
I didn't meet his parents until we were going out for about 4 months. He was afraid that his dad wouldn't like me because I am half Jewish and I'm half Cuban. He's, how can I put this mildly, not very warm towards people who are not Italian. He makes fun of his Indian son in law all the time. But... he loves me now!

They liked him but my mom was opposed to his braids......he eventually cut his hair
