QOTD #2 - Re-gifted shower gifts?

Original post by FuTuRe MrS MaZz

As I was sitting here a few days ago, finishing up my thank you's, I had to laugh... Some of my wishing well gifts and a vase that was sent to us just had to be regifted...

Although I'm not QOTD girl, I had to ask you ladies out of sheer amusement... Have you ever regifted at a shower? Just had something lying around your house that you didnt like/never used, so decided to pass it on to someone else? I've never done this, but I just may now...

I have never done it but would only if

1) the person would have no clue
2) it was not used
3) I would rewrap/ package it nicely
4) it was not something TOO horrible

I just would be embarrased to have my name associated with a tacky/ ugly/ horrible gift lol

if it were a case where I got a toaster and had one already and knew a friend who needed one then YES I would do it!

I have never re-gifted a gift and I don't know if I could... I would honestly just feel way too guilty to do it because I have the worst guilty conscience ever!! Maybe I would re-gift a wishing well gift if I was like an ice cream scooper or something like that but I would buy them their actual gift.

I got stuff like that too- a box of pasta, a roll of paper towels, and some crushed tomatoes...

Ive actually never done that. But i def. had some regifts at my shower in my well too! I think its hilarious. honestly if i didnt want it or someone else didnt need it i just tossed it. I did try to ask others if they wanted it first though.
