Back in 1997 I got my own computer and started to go on AOL and in chat rooms. I had met this one guy on there and became friends but never meeting in person. Then through chat rooms and ims I started talking to his brother and then I met their other friends through AOL still no in person meet. Well one of their friends happened to be FH. We would chat on AOL and I knew I liked him. I never knew how people could have feelings through a computer but I was starting to learn. I used to wait for him to come online at night. Lol. Well one night he came on and instant messaged me and all it said was HI and right there I said to myself this is going to be the guy I marry. So we all kept talking through the computer and then in 2000 I started working in the city and his grandfather owned a bar near my job so i kept teasing him telling him I was going to show up one day on my lunch hour and surprise him. So one day I knew he was working I went in and met him. I sat down and he asked what I wanted to drink and I said whatever you feel like making me. So he made me a Long Island Iced Tea. Nice and strong. I only had that one and I didn't eat all day and I had a liquid lunch so you can imagine I didn't feel so hot after and had to go back to work. Ugh. So I went back to work and we decided to meet after work but I already had plans with my best friend so i cancelled with her and went back to the bar and hung out. Needless to say I got in trouble that night cause no one knew where I was and who I was with but hey I had to give it a shot. It was awesome we had our first kiss that night. We both liked each other but didn't make the move we were young and stupid. We remained friends and I was there when he was in relationships and he was to. We always looked out for each other and took care of each other. Finally about 2 years ago we decided enough is enough let's do this and Waalaa 16 years later I'm marrying the man who said HI. Everyone always wanted us to be but we just never acted on it.

I love all these responses! For me, it wasn't just one moment but a collection of them. The two that stand out are the time I got into a huge fight with his mother (the only fight to BTW) and he flat out told her not to make him pick because he'd pick me. The other is when he gave me this key necklace for my first birthday with him. He gave me this speech about how I now hold her heart and he told me he loved me for the first time.
Awe I think I fell in love with him all of again!

Thank you Ladies. I love telling our story it always puts a huge smile on my face. It makes me appreciate our love for each other more and more each day. We often talk about what if we acted sooner and stuff since we knew we liked each other from day one but I'm a firm believer in things happen for a reason and if its meant to be it will be and the famous if you love someone set them free if they come back it was meant to be. And here we are living proof.

My fiance and I met back in 2007 through job training. We had brief conversations throughout the months of training but after the training was over we didn't keep in touch. Fast forward to 2011, we reaquainted at a job function and recognized each other and started talking. He remembered something that I had told him back in 2007 that I would have never expected for him to remember since we didn't have many conversations and I was completely impressed that he remembered something so insignificant to him, but so important to me. I think that without me even knowing it I knew he was the one from that very moment, but what really confirmed it was how good he was (and continues to be) with my daughter. They have a geat relationship and that is so important to me.Welcome New Vendors
