I was looking over my guest list and mocked up seating chart yesterday at the guests who had replied and those still outstanding and realized we have quite a few who are OOT guests, some further away than others.
Today's questions are: How far away is your furthest guest? How close is your closest distance wise?
My furthest is in Japan. I went to HS with her and when she was in NY a few years ago she got to meet FH. I joked then that we were going to find a way to see her again in under 13 years as it seemed our friends and I only got to see her every 13 years. She is not only coming to the wedding, she wants to sing something for us too. Before you ask, she has family here too, so she'll get to see them for a bit too, but it's so sweet that we see her so infrequently and she not only wants to come, but honor us by offering to sing something for us.
My closest is about 3-4 miles away. My MOH and her husband are the closest, other than my parents who are a mile away. FH parents are next followed by his Brother and SIL. Other than the obvious of being able to get together easier, and help feed each others pets if nec., with MOH and her DH, if I need her to help with something, which luckily I haven't yet. It isn't a big commute.

Crashing! Our furthest invited guests are my cousins in Ireland! Idk if they'll come, but I hope so! I haven't seen them since I was there 4 years ago. My closest is my FH! Lol he lives about .25 miles away from me right now :) we used to ride our bikes to each other's houses :)

We invited quite a few from California but ironically the 2 couples that are our age are both expecting babies at any moment so they won't be able to make it. But some of FH's aunts and cousins from California are coming. As for closest, besides my FH since he lives with me, my friend Erica lives in Ronkonkoma as do we. So she's the closest guest.

furthest would be nevada i think. closest is 13 steps away. literally. my uncle & aunt are our landlords and live downstairs from us!

Our closest guests are coming to us from Long Beach, just a few miles down the road from where we live .

The furthest will be from Florida, my whole dad's side of the family is there. The closest is the rest of my family/friends who lives here on LI.
Furthest is definitely one of my BMs who lives in Hawaii. She's been amazing with coming in for things. She made my engagement party last June and will make it up for the bachelorette before all the wedding festivities. So thankful she has so many frequent flyer miles wouldnt be the same without her.
Haha I'm not sure about closest... closest to what? My bros live closest to the church, lots of people close to the venue but no one really lives close to where we are in jersey.

Furthest away is FH's family in Israel. Closest would have to be my FILs who live about 20 minutes away from the venue.

The farthest would be California. We aren't inviting my cousins in Germany (otherwise they'd win the 'farthest away' category) because we didn't get invited to theirs. I think they assumed we wouldn't be able to make the trip, which was correct lol.

Furthest invited is also Japan, but we don't know yet if he will be making it. Furthest away that is definitely coming is California and Seattle.
Closest would be my parents and one of my bridesmaids. they are about 10-15 minutes away from the place.

the furthest is probably our friend in wisconsin... most of our family is in CT, NY, MA, NC, or NJ... the closest guest is my neighbor that lives 2 houses down from us

We have a lot of family coming from different states especially on FH's side.
Our furthest is from Japan as well. My parents' are God parents to the bell ringer in the wedding and his grandparents are coming from Japan.
I also have a cousin from Jamaica coming.
Closest would be my neighbor i knew since elementary school!

My furthest invited is in California and is someone I know from High School. My furthest attending thus far (not all my RSVPs are in) is upstate NY, my mom. She moved up there my senior year of high school. The closest attending is basically everyone else, cause they all live closer to my venue than me and FH! It might actually be FH's parents that are the closest.
