16 is wayy to young for 7 partners

JMO

16 is way to young (IMO).. I wasn't even thinking about sex until I was 18 let alone be with someone!! Kids now a days are just doing it younger and younger.. It's crazy... FH is not the first guy I had sex with, but he is the first thing I did other stuff with (or too ).. I'm 22 and FH is the 3rd guy I've ever been with.. Most of my girlfriends have been with over 20 people and some of them are 20 years old... I was raised not to do 1 night stands and all that stuff... Not that I have anything against girls who do, but my parents were seriously strict about that stuff (with me anyway)... 16 is just wayyyy to young (IMO).

i dont think 16 is too young depending on the persons maturity level, relationship and responsibility (but my sis is 16 and id kill her!!!!!) but all those guys now thats nuts!!

i dont know - i def agree that 16 is still a 'kid' but at 16 years old kids are juniors in high school, they can have a jobs, they should be looking into colleges, in lots of states they can already drive, so i think that some 16 year olds can be pretty responsible and i think that at that age you can have a relationship/puppy love....i dont think kids should do it but it happens and i think 16 is a pretty common age for kids to lose their virginity (at least when i was growing up it was) so for me it isnt shocking - junior/senior year in high school some girls had boyfriends that were already in college, that drove, that had jobs, i remember being 16 and feeling 'grown up' in a sense and i think that at 16 i was very mature - much more than my sister is now

nowadays its sounding more an more normal - its just all a matter of opinion -

I dont think some of these girls just do it to do it - maybe mistake it for a connection or emotion - looking for something.

Looking back, I can assure you that 16 is too young for ANY of that.

My sister is a middle school teacher and told me that the school had to have cameras installed in the school buses because girls were giving bjs in the back of the bus on the way to school. There is a pregnant 12 yr old at her school.

Its horrible.

Most of my friends lost their virginity at 15/16, but that was it for them until college. I think at that age you should be old enough and mature enough to make a decision on whether or not to engage in it...but 7 by the age of 16 is crazy!!!

7 guys for a 16 year old is wayyyy too many partners. Like someone pointed out (sorry can't remember who) at 16 the maturity isn't there. Some also said she probl has self-esteem issues, which i agree with as well.

So many young girls are sexually active now well before they even have the capacity to understand everything it involves.

FH is a HS teacher and he tells me that being a teenager now is so different than when we were teens. He was like'you have to hear what these guys and girls talk about, what they do.' The other day a janitor in his school caught two kids having full-on hard-core sex in one of the bathrooms.

Granted I was a late bloomer, but even still my friends at 16 were mostly virings or just starting to have sex, def. not in the realms of 7 partners.

16 isnt too young to start imo, but 7 partners by 16 is rediculous! i never even reached that number and never will

You hit the nail on the head.. Morales and values!!!!! I don't agree with...everyone's doing it and you can't stop a 16 year old from having sex.

YES YOU CAN!! Instill in her self esteem by the age of 5...instill in her values and respect and she WONT want to have sex at age 16!!!

Parents wait until it's too late to try and instill this into girls...you are who you are going to be basically by the age of 5.....it's then where you start instill these things in a girls head.. respect yourself.. self esteem....and values!!!!

Yes as some point your friends become more of an influence on you BUT if you have the right upbringing you know to choose your friends with the same values as you. And you would realize the just because my friends are doing it doesn't mean I have to.

Coming from a very Catholic/Italian family, I was raised to have morals and values. Your upbringing molds you into the teenager/adult that you become. If you are raised in that way of life, you more than likely will make friends that are most similar to you. I can't speak for all, but I've experienced it myself. At around the age of 13, the friends that I had been close to for my whole childhood began to change and go down the wrong path (drugs, sex, etc.). My parents saw this, sat me down speak to me about it, and I distanced myself from those people. MY PARENTS WERE INVOLVED IN MY LIFE!! They knew what I was doing! Most girls today do whatever the he!! they want and their parents are in la-la land and have no clue. I don't care how much peer pressure young kids face, if you have a strong foundation, it doesn't matter. The problem these days is that parents don't pay attention to what their kids are doing.

Figured I'd say this just in case... This is JMO. lol
