Happy Friday ladies!!!!!! Soooooooo happy it’s finally here…the week has been DRAGGING!!!!!
For the TGIF QOTD…. For the ladies that live w/ FH:How do you split the housework (cleaning, cooking, etc) or is it all you? all him? For the ladies that do not live w/ FH: How do you think it will be?!?!?
FH and I are pretty good at splitting chores and keeping the apt neat and clean. We definitely help each other out. I will usually cook dinner when we get home from work and he’ll help me clean up after. He always does the vacuuming around our apt but I’m usually the one to dust and scrub the kitchen, bathroom, etc. I have to say we make a pretty good team!

FH is in charge of cooking. he cooks everything. breakfast, lunch & dinner. & also cleans the shower because i think its gross.
i am in charge of the rest of the cleaning & the laundry. i am also in charge of keeping the car clean & full of gas. i also make sure we have a stocked medicine cabinet.
we both take out the garbage & do the food shopping. when it comes to big apartment cleanings (spring & fall clean up) he helps me take everything apart & then helps me put everything back together. i also have a rule that if we are having company (either family or friends) we both have to make the house presentable.

We do everything together. We usually cook together but If I am home sooner, I will cook and he will clean and vice versa.
We always used to go food shopping together but more recently it made sense for us to split up some chores. So I'll go food shopping and he'll do laundry in the meantime.
We'll clean the house together as well - If he's not home and I am, I'll start cleaning and won't stop and will end up cleaning the entire house.
But I would say we're definitely equally involved in the cooking, cleaning and pretty much everything.

FH and I live together. Cleaning , I have a women that comes every other week and I am the one that straightens up and vacuuming on the weeks she does not come to clean. I do all the cooking he does the dishes, then I dry and put everything away. Food shopping we go together which I admit from time to time enjoy. (he has to look at everything!) FH makes the bed everyday since he is the last to get up. He also changes the sheets every Sunday. The garbage and recyclable is usually him but if I am going toward the back of the complex I will take it. Changing the litter box and birdcage are my responsibility but we share the daily pickup of the animals, basically who ever gets home or get up first will clean it up.

well I love this question! :) I do most everything...granted we have a cleaning lady that come to our house for a 'good' clean twice a month and FH pays for it. FH also is responsible for shoveling snow! and garbage and helping me fold...mostly sheets as he ***** at folding all else. that's all i'm going to say you decide the rest! LOL

We kind of evenly split, and depends really on the day. I do most of the cooking, and then FH will do the dishes when I cook. As for cleaning, he does it a lot more than me, but he's also home more than me. But I do it better when I do it. FH takes out the garbage most of the time, but I gather it all together.

I do it all!! Unless I ask him to do something which he usually will. If we happen to be grilling for dinner, I let him have the grill. He takes out the garbage most of the time and sometimes if he's bored he'll start loading the dishwasher.

FH takes out trash, empties dishwasher, and cleans litter box
I usually vaccuum & clean the bathrooms.
We both clean the kitchen & do laundry.

I pretty much do it all. But if I ask FH to do something he will do it he just does not take initative. Although he is a really good cook and does do that sometimes!!!

Normally I do more, but I have to give FH some credit lately. Since I started school and work later than I normally do 1 night a week, FH cooks Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, which is much more than he normally did, which was like once a week or every other week lol. We split the chores pretty evenly. We play rock paper scissors to see who cleans the dishes and he normally takes out the trash. He's OCD about cleaning so I'm lucky in the sense that he LOVES cleaning and is much neater than I am...

I do the main cleaning... as I have OCD and FH's cleaning would be pointless. I would just go over everything he did, lol. But he does help every night with the dishes, and every morning we make the bed together

We dont live together yet...I dont mind cleaning and doing laundry. But he's gonna have to cook- I can't cook for anything. I'll make him lunch and stuff and do the food shopping, but I cannot cook!
we both split everything pretty equally - if he cooks - I'll clean up the mess and vice versa - as for house cleaning, we both have special sections we take care of - he has bedroom, and the spare room and I have living room, kitchen and bathrooms, he also does all the yard work...

Split????? I cook I clean!!! Fh is a hard worker and he deserves dinner on the table for him when he comes home from work. I wish I had a cleaning lady thought. Not great on that part

allllllllll me.... except he'll do dishes usually 1-2x a week. needless to say the place is pretty freaking messy since i've been working non-stop. and he just walks around it. such a dude.

I do all the cleaning, except for taking out the trash and moving it to the curb. FH does all the manual labor stuff like moving and fiixing stuff. We prob do an equal amount of the cooking. I don;t mind doing all the cleaning, fh works far so hes out for like 12 hours a day. I work a normal work day so I put in my effort at home...it evens out

I do the cooking...sometimes FH will help prep, but he doesn't have a steady work schedule...so he cleans up. Other chores are split...who ever can get with them...mostly he does dry cleaning runs and we both go grocery shopping.
