FH was too excited so I kneww he bought the ring I fell in love with bec he told me. I didnt know when he was going to do it.

He took me to the city and we went on the horse and carriage ride in central parkkk which was sooooooo nice. I didnt think much of it. I heard some music playing and thought aww wouldnt it be nice if he proposed with music playing lol. ( we have been talking marriage months before and pretty much knew we were getting married) then I saw the boathouse rerstaurant and thought ugh cra* ok he isnt doing it. so after about 30mins on the horse I heard a saxophone playing and thought okay this is a tease lol. but then as we got closer the song was so familiar but i couldnt figure it out and then I saw this guy standing by Bethesda Terrace playing that song which i then realized was the song we picked for our first dance!!!!!!!!!!! of course i started tearing because i knew what was going on and then I got out of the carriage and we went down the steps of bethesda and he said u know I love you more than anything and anyone in the world right and i was half crying half giggling lol and then he went down and asked meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it was awesomeeeeee!

That is soooo romatic and soooo totally in theme with your wedding - this is like the perfect proposal for you!!!

I watched all the videos and read all the posts - They are all such unique and precious moments!! Thank you ladies for sharing

It was our 1 year anniversary and FH loves to make huge plans and doesnt give me details. I had a feeling it was going be that night because FH can be predictable. So, I go get my nails done, hair and I buy this cute black dress. I am figuring if it isn't the night aleast i will look hot. FH picks me up in a 16 passenger limo, just for him and me. Totally shocked. We go to dinner at theVeiw in the Marriot. During dinner I am telling Fh i think your going to ask me tonight. He replies, Michelle I don't even have the ring with me, so please just drop it. At this point I am kind of down and like wanting this night to be over because I am down. After dinner we go to a KNICK game( i dont like basketball but FH needed to buy time) They won- shocking I know LOL.
After the Kinck game, we go to Empire State Building. FH has express passes which mean you dont have to wait on line but there werent any lines in November lol. So we are going thru the metal detectors and FH has to get the ring thru without me seeing it. He has the security Detain me to the side like I am criminal. TRhey serch me up and down so far away from FH but I didnt think anything of this because it is NY.

We get upstair and FH is like lets exchange cards. Now we are outside and it freezing. I was like Can we do this inside? and he like NO.

So to turn away from the wind, I put my back to him so I can open his card. I open the card and there is 5 post it- * tick tock 5...4...3...2...1.... the future is now* My heart stops and I turn to him and he is on one knee. I was like OMG!!!!!!!! and he holding out ths ring. people are walking by us and saying did you see what just happen and people started to applause us...

it was amazing.


After we finish upstair... we took the limo to brooklyn bridge to take pics and on the way there was bumper to bumper traffic so this car full of guys and girls were like sweet ride and i was like we just got engaged!!!!!

It was amazing

i love all of these stories! we 2011 brides have the bestest FH EVER!!!

Hey ladies!! Okay sooo here goes:

Back then (1.5 years ago) I was working in the city and FH was working in Jersey, so he calls me up at work and says 'hey soooo you want to go see the tree' and I was totally for it except that I thought we had other plans that weekend and he was all like 'I'll come into the city' so then keeping in mind that my office party was that same week - I said 'Give me one good reason why you can come to my Holiday Office Party as my plus one but you want to drive in to see the same tree we saw last year' needless to say he ended up agreeing and complained about workload but said I had a point (he pretty much had to hahaha) this is the first in the list of funny little obstacles.

Soooo it really worked out bc I was all dressed up for the party and when we got to the tree he mentioned going to go see the TOP of the Rock in Rockafeller Center and not knowing any better I said 'ehhh I've seen it already' he had this look on his face that was priceless so then i said 'If you really want to go baby - I haven't been there with you so c'mon' (I didn't want to ruin the fact that he was actiually being uuber romantic - chalk it up to the city lights) and then I remembered that my friend worked there so he could get us in for free - I started making phonecalls and FH was like I want to do this for you so can you just let me pay for it... and besides if your friend comes - we'll have to have a drink with him and we'll probably be late to the office party (good point)...

Sooo then we start walking to the line and I notice a JCrew which had the winter coat I wanted for christmas and I said 'omg lets go see if they have it bc then you don't have to pay for shipping - this must be fate!' Me & that jacket! hahahaah I didn't know what fate had in store for me that night a FH not a jacket lol. So ofcourse he says we'll check it on the way out bc we couldnt miss the time for being in line (I never waited in line before so I didn't think he was making it up and that was the end of that).

We get in line and I start applying blush and he looks at me all bugg eyed and is like 'why are you doing your makeup' which i thought was a little weird - poor thing must have been nervous out of his mind - and I explained, I forgot to apply blush back at the office and when I came with my freind I didn't get to take the photo shot since it was afterhours and I wanted one with him - so he knows that ofcourse I have to doll meself up. When we got to the place to sit and take the souvenir picture, he just kept walking (mission on his mind) and I was yelling for him to come back and take the photo but by then someone else had sat down...

So we get to the TOP of the Rock and we're looking out at the city - and there was this glass section in front of us and I said 'I remember there being no glass here- there has to be another level hmmm and he says 'Isn't this a beautiful view' starring straight at me and by the time I turned to say awww honey - he had his hand in his pocket - which got stuck with the box - he dropped to his knees and in the same fashion he asked me out - he said 'I would like to please know if you would Marry Me' and popped the box open with the ring.

I was a crying mess - and then I looked up and saw the other level lol and forgot to say yes!! I was soo shocked, I was all like, I should have worn waterproof mascara and omg are we still going to the party.... and then of course I said YES YES YES! We had an awesome time at the office party, partied the night away and even got sent home in a car service. I didn't get the jacket but I got a Fiancee

I got engaged here too!!! When we went through the metal detectors they went off... The security guard came over and started asking him to empty his pockets... I was getting all ananoyed and told him to just take his coat off and put it through the metal detectors.. I turned around to get my bag, and he mouthed to the security guard that he had a ring in his pocket.. the guy let him through. I kept saying.. I dont understand WHY he let you thru.. he didnt even frisk you or anything.. What kind of security is that??? Little did I know what was to come. We were overlooking St Patricks cathedral and I brought up having a wedding there, I turned around and he was on one knee. He said something like, I know we cant get married there, but will you marry me?? I just cried and ripped the box out of his hand... HE was so confused bc I closed the box and never even answered him.. so he had to ask again and take the box back from me. For some reason, noone was around when this all happened and 2 minutes later it was packed.. FH told me people were going to think he hit me bc i was crying soo hard I didnt even look around anymore bc I wanted to call everyone I knew and I had no phone signal up there lol.

FUNNY STORY.....
This is my first christmas away from home.....and ive always had a real christmas tree. The night of December 5th it was POURING and he said lets get the christmas tree. I shouldve known somehting was up then. Well neway, we left it in his parents basement to dry for the night and at literally liek 8 am on the next morning (sunday) he woke me up and said lets put the tree up. I was like what its 8am lets sleep for antoher hour. So he brings the tree up and was acting weird. He gave me a big hug and told me how much he loved me. Now the whole time his hand was in his pants (which actually wasn't that weird bc he has his hands in his pants all the time, haha) Then he started fidgeting in his pants, i was like what the hell is he doing?? He gives me another big hug and says lets put the first ornament on the tree.... he pulls out the engagement ring and it was hanging from an ornament hook. All i could say was 'are you serious'???? bc hes a big joker. he was now down on one knee and i kept saying....'are you serious?'' And he tore his acl a month prior to that so it was difficult for him to go down on one knee and said 'can u just give me an answer, IM SERIOUS.....this kinda hurts.' So i finally said yes and started crying and of course his mom was listening at the door and came in.

The reason why he was figeting in his pants was bc the hook got stuck and he couldn't get it out, so literally for 5 minutes his hand was figeitng in his pants, it was funny.

the ironic thing is that my parents got engaged in front of thier christmas tree too and my fh didn't even know that

Weekend at Oheka castle as a surprise. He proposed over private dinner I had no idea. I was bad I was even looking for a box in his pocket and then he asked me if I thought he needed to take his jacket so I figued no ring

He had it hidden in the camera bag. He told me he was gonna take a picture and I turned around and he was on one knee. So cute!

It was perfect!

Short and Sweet: Story is on my webpage.
In front of Cindi's Castle at MK in WDW.
It was dark, the castle changing colors, and I taking pics. FH suggested we go to the front of the castle, my son sat this one out. ( no surprise there, it was late he was tired) We went to one side of the castle, FH mentioned the other side for pics. So away we went, and if anyone knows WDW and Cindi's castle, there are nooks on the sides, we moved into one and as I was taking pics. FH mentions something about not buying any souvenirs. Now it was only our first full day there, so I was thinking 'it's only our first day here, and we are in MK, hello, shopping when the park closes!' Right after I snapped my last picture, he put the e-ring in front of me and asked if this one a good souvenir.
It was the best one of the trip!
