I definitely agree with the tips! I feel like the whole wedding industry is already SO overpriced - to have to tip when I'm already overpaying for a service is annoying. However, there are also some people that I feel truly deserve their tip for busting their a$$ all day long!

Basically anything extra that I've purchased is a waste of money but something I wanted. Our photographer was SO EXPENSIVE but in the end, I wouldn't have wanted to settle for anyone else so I'm happy we didn't.

For me, it KILLS me to have to set money aside to tip vendors. I can get behind tipping servers or delivery people, but when it comes to tipping my photographer, my banquet manager, my florist, it drives me CRAZY. I don't understand tipping people who I am already paying plenty of money to to not just do their job, but their career!

ITA with this point. Nobody tips me nor my fiance for doing our jobs, that's what we get a salary for. Especially if they own the business. It's kind of irritating to me to be honest. Glad I'm not the only one.

I'm really glad that we splurged on a photobooth! I'm so excited to see the pictures from it and the book that we get made. We also spent more on our photographer, but it was worth it to us.

I agree with the tipping thing. My mom was always under the impression that the owner does not get tipped. However a lot of my vendors are the sole operator of the business as well. I guess they are all still entitled to the tip.

Invitations and tipping are the worst. The whole point of tipping is if someone goes above and beyond but should NOT be manditory!!

We also splurged a little on the photo & video, I would also like to add a candy/popcorn bar and sushi if my final budget allows it.
