QOTD?: Does anyone feel funny...?

Posting about vendors booked, etc. when we know that other vendors are reading our posts?

I'm starting to feel like maybe I should just say 'I booked something' and leave you all guessing as to what type of vendor and WHAT vendor it was.

Is it something we just have to deal with - I know it's a public board...but why do some vendors tell you that they saw what you wrote?

I don't feel funny at all with posting about vendors...If a vendor is going to read what I wrote, that is just fine with me...There are reasons why we all pick the vendors that we do...We all meet with TONS of vendors & we have every right to post good or bad...We are all here to help one another out!!! That is the purpose for the boards...if there is a vendor that does not like the fact that we didn't book them, then that is there problem & maybe they should realize that there are REASONS why we didn't!

I agree. We are here to help one another out. That is the purpose for the boards. If vendors want to read what we say let them.
A vendor had asked me if I ever heard of LIW website because he told me that he checks to see if anyone says anything about his company. I think it's funny. If they want to read our posts let them.

Getting an FM doesn't bother me BUT constant phone calls do...they get my name from Bridal SHows and do not STOP SO if you are reading this..do not call at dinner time or at anytime

It really makes me want to SCREAM Its so annoying and of course its vendors who I have never even heard of and definetely did not give my info to....and they call non stop...'Are you still looking for a DJ' are you looking for a band....well you calling me all the time makes me not want to hire you!!!! I feel if they need to make cold calls then they don't get enough business and maybe I don't want to use someone like that
