lesson planning last night was ridic....im really stressing, and i am seriously hoping that i should continue with this, bc if i should be a teacher, then im wasting my time
anywho, here is the QOTD:
So its obvious that if you are a member of LIW, you are kind of a wedding fanatic...you are an overplanner of sorts, and like to have everything done VERY early (we are all guilty of this )
what was the first piece of wedding planning that you did? how long did you do this planning after you got engaged?

The first thing we did was look at reception halls, we started pretty soon after getting engaged and looked for months.

The first thing we did was book the reception hall. It was about 2 weeks after we got engaged. We were very particular on what we wanted to I wanted to book quickly.

the first thing we did was look at RH. We did this only one week after getting engaged. We book JT after 2 weeks.
We have done everything in a rapid fire sort of way!

First thing I did was go dress shopping two weeks after we got engaged just to see what was out there and that night FH and I went to RH's. WM was actually the first place we went to and fell in the love with it... the rest is history!
BTW... hang in there with student teaching! Good luck to you and dont stress too much... you will do great!!

I've been engaged for under 2 weeks.. We started looking at reception halls, I bought my Jets and Yankees garters and I've already ordered some wristlets for my BM gifts lol.

Lets see before we were engaged we had the RH, photo and DJ booked. Right after being engaged we bought our invitations and booked video.

I did a lot of general research the first few weeks so I could figure out what I wanted, but during this time the first thing we did was book the hall. We wanted to know where we were going and what our date would be so that when we talked to vendors we could book and make sure that they were available.

Looked at RHs. We got engaged on September 8th, and booked CLM on October 24th. Over 2 YEARS before our wedding date!!! Now its almost a year away...time flies!

Looked at RH. I tend to do a lot of research, pretty much know who/what I want, and then delay on the booking.

we got engaged and not even two weeks later the hall AND church were booked. it was very important that we got a date in may so we wanted to make sure that we got those two things book!

We looked for RH right after we got engaged. The photograppher came about a month later, then we were out of cash for awhile, so we just saved, saved and saved... Now all we have left is DJ and Limos... we have TONS of little things done though. Rather have them done now then stressing about it later..

The first thing we did was the RH. We let the idea of us getting married soak in for a little while, I did some research and then we started looking. We got engaged Oct 19 and booked the 2nd hall we looked at a few days after Christmas.

First we booked our hall & then the church! We booked right after our E-Party. I needed to focus on that & then we started the wedding stuff. Overall we were engaged about three months before we booked anything for the wedding. We really enjoyed our engagement. Our E-party ROCKED!

wo booked our a month after we got engaged, in between that month we went to Punta Cana, visited 6 RHs and planned our E-party.

The first thing we did was book our reception hall and church.. I knew right away what church I wanted but I wanted to make sure they were available the same day as the RH was.. I believe we booked our place about a month after we got engaged.. . I knew I wanted to May-June of 2009 wedding and we got engaged in March of 2008 so we had no time to waste!
