A couple got engaged during your reception? Would you feel as though they are stealing your thunder?

I would think that is odd if someone proposed at someone else's wedding. Does this happen in real life or just tv? I don't think I would be mad but feel sad for the girl that got proposed to at my wedding.

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, you want your proposal to be special and a day of your own, not someone else's day.

It's a cool idea, but overall, I would not be pleased.
Yes, I've seen it happen, and the bride was not happy.
If I knew about it ahead and helped with the surprise, I maight feel different. If it were a very close friend or sister who I was super close to...maybe ok.

see my thing is what if it was set up.. the bride I would think would have to really love the couple or be on drugs .ehheheheh. like if they both caught the bouquet and garter and then he proposed.. why would you want that at your own wedding.. I couldn't imagine a bride not knowing about it.. i would probably kill someone.. have them escorted out.. etc. Thats just my opinion..
