Is there a way to get a new passport where they change your name in the front and not just the amendment in the back? We are thinking about traveling sometime this year and want to get this process started.
Thank goodness this will be my last thing to change.

Ok great - I might do that.
And Daniela - when you did go in person did they take your ML from you? I don't have any certified copies only the original and I am not mailing it. It means I would have to get a certified copy.
Yes, Kim, they take your marriage license. You do get it back but it does take a few weeks.

Kim, if you fly under your maiden name, you'll be fine. Your passport and ticket have to match.

I had no problem flying with a passport in my maiden name and ticket in my married name. I just brough along my marriage license.
