Question about Newsday

I was wondering if Newsday ever adds a Bridal section to the paper??? Have they lately??? Buffalo News does in January but of course that doesn't help me much!

As a matter of facrt they do. Every quarter they have a pull out section. In the sunday paper they usually have a few small ads in the 'Fan Fare' section.

Question about Newsday

2 of my 3 sisters work for Newsday so I will try to find out in advance for everyone. One works in the advertising department so I think she would know when a special section is coming out because there are so many ads.

OK I need your help. I had my bridal shower and bachelorette party last weekend. I live in VA but I grew up on LI. MY MOH is still on LI and I have 5 BM on LI and 4 in VA.

Nicky/Ayanna,

Could you let me know ASAP next time one comes out?? That way I could ask/remind Chris's family to save it for me. We will be done in less than a month now!! :)! Can't wait. I love to visit LI!

If for some reason your FI family forgets to save the wedding section for you...let me know...my family always saves it for me. I wont be needing it because I'm basically done with my planning. :-) Just waiting for the day to come!!

Thanks Lisa. I will let you know...hopefully I will luck out and it will be in the Newsday the first weekend in March! Or atleast between now and then!

Do you get any other wedding planning supplements down there??? Like maybe specific magazines???

Question about Newsday

there was a wedding supplement in sunday, january 21st (entitled spring 2001). what exactly are you looking for? it comprised mostly of ads of reception sites and various vendors.

Question about Newsday

Anything like you described! I am looking for ideas of various places for receptions and also for vendors for various things. Vendors I won't need but will in the future...like maybe hair/make-up. Obviously I don't have a regular person to go to down there and I don't think it would work to get my hair/make-up done up here! lol!:)

I wonder if they will come out with another after V-day?!
